Cottage Elisabethinha

Cottage Elisabethinha is the second home in Casal de Dona Elisabeth and is located on a hill in the rolling countryside between Paderne and Tunes, wonderfully quiet yet very central in the Algarve.
Only 15 minutes from Albufeira with its beautiful beaches, terraces, restaurants and golf courses. In Tunes, 3 km away, there are shops, restaurants, supermarket, cafes and a train station.

The Cottage consists of a living room with open kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and two bedrooms for four guests. This spacious house has a sunny terrace in front of the door and two roof terraces, exclusively for the guests in the Cottage.
From the roof terraces you have a magnificent view over the surrounding farmlands, the Monchique Mountains, the villages of Alte and Santa Margarida and you can even see the ocean.

During the restoration of the former farm, two independent houses were made.
The other house, the Quinta, has three bedrooms for six people and private use of the swimming pool.

The Quinta and the Cottage together form a family accommodation if you want to come with more than four people, or if you want your own home and privacy with two groups, but still want to enjoy the pool and other outdoor activities together.
What could be nicer when, for example, you come as parents with your children and their grandparents!

In the summer of 2023 we will only rent the houses from July 15 to August 31 in combination.

If you only rent the Cottage, this is always without using the swimming pool.

The nearby historic town of Paderne is known for its Moorish castle, a Roman bridge, the ever-flowing spring with wonderfully cool water that flows into a river that you can also swim in, and the beautiful church. In the area it is wonderful to walk and mountain bike, for the latter you need to be reasonably practiced because there are more climbs than you might expect.
In the receipt folder you will find walking routes, also of marked walks in the area. Willem has made beautiful route descriptions through rural areas for cycling enthusiasts.

The former stable area from about 1800 is the oldest part of the farm, has been completely renovated and converted into a house and is now the Cottage.

One pet is, in consultation, often welcome for a small fee for the cleaning lady.

Bookings made exclusively by young people, ie without their parents, will not be accepted.
