Cottage Elisabethinha

Cottage Elisabethinha is the second house in Casal de Dona Elisabeth and is located on a hill in the rolling countryside between Paderne and Tunes, wonderfully quiet yet very central in the Algarve.
Only 15 minutes from Albufeira with its beautiful beaches, terraces, restaurants and golf courses. In Tunes, 3 km away, there are shops, restaurants, supermarket, cafes and a train station.

The Cottage consists of a living room with open kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and two bedrooms for  four guests. This spacious house has a sunny terrace in front of the door and two roof terraces, exclusively for guests in the Cottage.
From the roof terraces you have a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside, the Monchique Mountains, the villages of Alte and Santa Margarida and you can even see the ocean.

During the restoration of the former farmhouse, it was turned into two independent houses.
The other house, the Quinta, has three bedrooms for six people and the private use of the swimming pool.

The Quinta and the Cottage together form a family accommodation if you want to come with more than four people, or if you want to have your own house and privacy with two groups but still want to enjoy the swimming pool and other outdoor activities together.

From July 6 to August 31 we only rent out the houses in combination.

If you only rent the Cottage, it is always without using the swimming pool.

The nearby historic town of Paderne is famous for its Moorish castle, a Roman bridge, the ever-flowing spring with wonderfully cool water flowing into a river where you can also swim, and the beautiful church. The area is great for hiking and mountain biking, for the latter you need to be reasonably practiced because there are more climbs than you might expect.
In the reception folder you will find walking routes, including marked walks in the area. For cycling enthusiasts, Willem has made beautiful route descriptions through rural areas.

The former stable part from about 1800 is the oldest part of the farm, has been completely renovated and converted into a home and is now the Cottage.

One pet is often welcome, in consultation, for a small fee for the cleaning lady.

Bookings from young people only, i.e. without their parents, will not be accepted.
