Our former Portuguese farmhouse consists of two independent houses with private swimming pool. The houses are located on a hill in the middle of the rolling countryside between Paderne and Tunes, wonderfully quiet yet very central in the Algarve.
Only 15 minutes by car from Albufeira with its beautiful beaches, many terraces, restaurants and golf courses. In Tunes, 3 km away is a connection to the motorway and a train station and you will find shops, restaurants, supermarket and cafes. In Vale Pegas at 1 km is a mini mercado.

The spacious main house, the Quinta, has three bedrooms and is fully equipped for groups of up to six people and has several private terraces. The large private swimming pool belonging to the Quinta is sheltered in the garden next to the Quinta.

Our second home, the Cottage, has two bedrooms for four guests and is also fully furnished. In addition to the spacious and sunny terrace in front of the door, this house also has two roof terraces above the garage.
However, use of the swimming pool is reserved for the tenant of the Quinta in the case of separate rental.

The Quinta and the Cottage together form a family accommodation for larger groups, ideal if you come with two families or friends and each want their own home and privacy, but still want to enjoy the pool and other outdoor activities together.
What could be more pleasant when you, for example, come as parents with your children and their grandparents!

The Quinta has a combined heating/air conditioning in the living room/kitchen, cooling and heating are included in the price.
There is also a closed wood stove, wood is not included but if desired we supply wood for only €3 per basket.
The Cottage is heated with a mobile gas stove, this house also has a large closed wood stove.

Bath towels and bath towels are provided in sufficient quantities, as are hand and glass towels and bed linen.

The nearby historic town of Paderne is famous for its Moorish castle, a Roman bridge, the ever-flowing spring with wonderfully cool water flowing into a river where you can also swim, and the beautiful church. The area is a feast for the eyes and it is wonderful for hiking and mountain biking.
In the reception folder you will find walking routes, including marked walks in the area. For cycling enthusiasts, Willem, as an experienced mountain biker, has made beautiful route descriptions through rural areas, where you will still find a café for a cup of coffee with something sweet from time to time...

One pet is often welcome, but only in consultation, for a small extra fee for the cleaning lady.

Bookings from young people under the age of 25 only, i.e. without their parents, will not be accepted.

We advise you to take out cancellation insurance in case you have to cancel your reservation. We cannot be obliged to return any payments made.
                                                                                                    
By entering into a rental agreement, you also agree to comply with the recommendations of our manager on site. In particular, the use of the pool cover is mandatory in all seasons.

We have a rental license and the Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) that is mandatory in Portugal.
