We are The Darling — a family consisting of Dennis, Nadine, Nimm, Philly and Voss — and always looking for special treasures and unforgettable moments. What once started with shops full of special finds, has now grown into our creative studio and the Darling Little Escapes. Each escape reflects our love for beauty, coziness and special details, designed to let you slow down, enjoy and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Darling Little Escape Zeeland is a unique getaway where you immediately feel at home. Detached, surrounded by silence and with complete privacy. The interior is an eclectic mix of (pre)loved treasures, stylish, warm and Pinterest-worthy. Dream away in the four-poster bed with soft muslin sheets, relax in the clawfoot bath or light the fireplace and candles in the evening for a cosy evening with a pot of tea.
The kitchen is fully equipped and richly filled with lovingly collected crockery and table linen. Cooking automatically becomes an experience here. You don't have to bring books: there is a mini-library with reading material and games. Prefer to stretch out on the couch? Stream your favorite series to the television, play some guitar or connect your phone to the old-fashioned, converted radio to listen to your own music, or discover the carefully curated Darling Little Escape playlist via the QR code.
Outside, a spacious garden with unobstructed and wide views awaits you — a place for your morning coffee in the soft morning light or a moment of silence by the setting sun. Next to the charming, old shed is the sauna, ready for use. The shed itself is still a work in progress, but together with a hot tub and warm corners, it will soon form our wellness garden: an intimate retreat where you can completely unwind.
Unlimited use of the sauna during your entire stay can be booked optionally. You can book the Barrel Sauna including bathrobes and extra towels for a total price of 50 euros, regardless of the number of people and the length of stay.
The surroundings also invite you to be discovered. The beach is only a fifteen minute drive away, ideal for a day full of sea, sun and relaxation. We made an 'explore map' with our favorite hotspots especially for you. Take the car or go on an adventure together on the tandem that is waiting for you.
Upon arrival you will find fluffy towels in the house, which is also equipped with wonderfully scented Marie Stella Maris hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. As an extra welcome, there is a jar of honey homemade by the neighbor, so that you immediately feel at home.
