Holiday home Sluis – space, peace and nature in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen
The area
Holiday home Sluis is located in the middle of the polder of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, about 3 kilometers from the historic and cozy center of Sluis. The house is in a quiet, green location along a cycle route. You will stay here in the countryside, with plenty of space and nature around you.
The surrounding area is ideal for cyclists and hikers. From the house you can cycle through the polder landscape towards Sluis or make a nice trip to the coast. Cadzand is about 8 kilometers away and is a nice destination for a bike ride to the beach. The wide beaches and dunes of Nieuwvliet, Groede, Retranchement and Breskens, among others, are also easily accessible.
Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is also a real Burgundian region, with a wide range of restaurants and cozy terraces in different price ranges. There is also a lot to discover just across the Belgian border. Knokke, Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp are great destinations for a day trip.
The house and the garden
The holiday home is located on a plot of no less than 5,000 m². There is plenty of space to play outside, play football, walk or eat together in the garden. At the back of the garden you will find a deck on the water. Here you can sit in peace, enjoy the view or cast a line. There is no road directly adjacent to the water, making this a particularly quiet and sheltered place.
There is plenty to do in the garden all year round. In spring, the greenery comes back to life, in summer you can enjoy the outdoors to the fullest and in autumn you can collect walnuts and watch the colors change. Even in winter it is wonderful to stay in the conservatory, overlooking the garden and the warmth of the wood stove. Pheasants, hares and various bird species can regularly be seen in the garden. With a bit of luck you can even spot a deer or a fox.
The house has five bedrooms, twelve single mattresses, three bathrooms and four toilets. This makes it suitable for families, multiple families and larger groups.
There are two seating areas: a living room with plenty of seating and a conservatory where you can relax and look out over the garden. The kitchen is not particularly large, but it is fully equipped. There are two refrigerators, a gas stove, a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bedrooms are equipped with a fan for the warmer days.
Good to know: this is a house in the countryside. You will stay here in a green, rural environment, with the peace and space that go with it. The house is ideally suited for families, families and larger groups. Rental to groups of friends whose members are younger than 30 years is not possible.

- Check in (Monday/Friday) 3.30 pm. Check out (Sunday/Monday/Friday) 10.30 am, except on Sundays as late as you wish.
