You will find our holiday home in Oostkapelle on beautiful Walcheren. This house has three bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs), a room and kitchen are in one. There is a separate shower and toilet with underfloor heating. There is a veranda with a lounge set attached to the house. Wonderful to eat outside and relax.

The garden is not large but is enclosed, which gives a nice feeling of privacy. Because the garden can be closed, it is also child-friendly. There is also a log cabin in the garden, which contains 2 bicycles and a hand cart, which you can use. There is also a washing machine in the house. The house is available for rental all year round.

Oostkapelle and our holiday home, a wonderful base from which to explore the area, on foot, by bike or by car. The beach within easy reach. For endless days in the sun or a brisk walk on the beach. Various beach pavilions that are open all year round. Nice cities, villages, terraces. There is something to do for everyone

We are Michiel and Gerda van den Berg, and we live in Ermelo (Mid-Ned). Together we have 4 children, all 4 of whom have already fledged. Michiel owns a construction company and I am a supervisor and I work with people with intellectual and hearing disabilities. Because we are real beach people, we did not have to think long when we were able to buy this holiday home in May 2018. With a lot of love, attention and energy we renovated and furnished this house ourselves. For ourselves and for the rental.

The living room has a sofa and 2 armchairs. Coffee table and TV furniture. PVC floor (concrete look). French doors to terrace and garden. Recently fitted with HR++ glass and new doors. The back has been repainted, the front of the building still needs to be done.

Round dining table made of sturdy black glass. 4 Leather seats. There are extra chairs in the bedroom. The living room also has a display cabinet (industrial look).
On one side of the terrace is a large dining table where you can sit with 6 people. The lawn is for shared use of all apartments. But this is rarely used by the other residents. Also a sun bed and Weber bbq available.

On the other side of the terrace, a lovely lounge sofa with cushions + coffee tables in a concrete look. Also an extra bench. There are 2 smaller parasol bases and 1 large parasol base on the terrace, in the larger bedroom the parasols are under the bed. Lounger is under sofa outside.

Delicious breakfast, coffee, tea is all possible and also early in the morning in the canopy!
The fireplace in the fireplace has been replaced by an environmentally conscious fireplace. With 1 push of a button there is fun.
Live your dreams, don't dream your life this is our motto in life. We hope that you will have a dream holiday in the Christoffel and that when you return home you can realize your own life dream with new energy.
The bathroom has a practical wide vanity unit with a large drawer for toiletries etc. Plus large mirror with sensor lighting and heating in the mirror.
In the master bedroom a linen closet with hang-lay area. The blackout curtains + shutters provide a quiet/dark sleeping environment.
The kitchen has under the sink a small refrigerator for daily use, dishwasher, Senseo, kettle, ceramic hob with extractor and oven.
From the sitting area you have a good view of the large garden that can be reached directly through the sliding doors.
The dining table has room for 6 chairs or, for example, 4 chairs and 2 high chairs, the table can be placed in various ways depending on whether your company consists of 2, 4 or 6 people
The bathroom on the 2nd floor has a luxurious rain shower and rain shower with the hand shower giving a wonderful wellness feeling. The 2nd toilet and vanity unit are available here.

The 2nd bedroom is located on the garden side on the 1st floor. There are mosquito nets in the window, so you can sleep with the windows open in summer.

In the garden a large outdoor area with lounge set where you can sit at all times of the day for a nice drink or a delicious meal.
