Our nice holiday home in Kortgene for 4 people within walking distance of the Veerse Meer is for rent. We completely renovated the house in the spring of 2026 and provided it with new stuff.
The cottage contains 3 bedrooms for up to 4 people and a baby up to 2 years (baby cot with bed linen and high chair are available as standard).
In November 2026, a floor will be added, and the bedrooms will be larger. It is then suitable for 6 people, and a baby.
The detached cottage is wonderfully quiet, you have complete privacy. The garden is enclosed with a hedge, and you can see and hear birds chirping everywhere. Other animals (deer, rabbits) also roam freely.
The kitchen has been renovated and equipped with an induction hob, large oven, fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a hot water tap, Nespresso machine, kettle, enough cutlery and crockery so that you don't have to do the dishes immediately. In the storage room there is a Miele washing machine and a microwave. A new air conditioner keeps the house cool. There is a new pellet stove with thermostat that ensures a pleasant indoor temperature when it is cold outside.
There are 3 bedrooms, each with a new bed; one of 160 by 200, and two beds of 80 by 200. A cot and high chair are available as standard, including a changing table.
The bathroom is small but nice, a lovely shower, a new washbasin and a new toilet make it neat and functional. When the upper floor is finished, there will be a 2nd large bathroom.
In the garden there is a lounge set to relax all day, and a dining table with chairs for 6 people. At any time of the day there are sunny corners around the cottage. For children there is a swing in the tree. Climbing the tree is allowed! At your own risk of course ;-). In the barn there are several bicycles that can be used free of charge, as well as game material for a game of badminton.
In the barn there are 2 sets of SUP boards (Stand Up Paddle) that can be used on the Veerse Meer. There are seats that can be clicked on, and two life jackets. Use is of course at your own risk.
The cottage is located on a large playing field, which you can use to the fullest. To unload and load your belongings, it is best to drive onto the field, but then you must park the car in the designated parking spaces (25 meters away). There is more than enough space.
A dog is allowed on request. The garden is mostly fenced, but there are wild animals in the park (rabbits, roe deer, deer), and the dog can go after it. For a visit with a dog, we charge an additional cleaning fee; The house is then cleaned extra thoroughly.
