Welcome to Den Onbekenden – your refuge in the Zeeland polder

Have you always wanted to spend the night in the middle of greenery, surrounded by nature and silence? At our luxury chalet at Den Onbekenden you can completely relax. Suitable for up to four people and only a ten-minute bike ride from bustling Goes, where you can shop, enjoy culinary delights or stroll along charming streets.

Our chalet offers:

A master bedroom with a comfortable double bed
Two bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet
A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
Air conditioning and electric heating
A cozy dining and living room with a view of the surrounding greenery

The garden has been fully fenced since December 2023 – ideal for guests with a dog. There is parking for several cars and your four-legged friend is very welcome. Two women's bicycles with gears can be rented as an option: perfect for exploring the area or getting fresh bread in Goes.

Arrival and departure: Arrive between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. If you leave before 10:00 am, clean up the chalet, remove the linen, put the garbage bags at the door and hand in the key.
Rest and visit: Enjoy the peace and quiet of the park together. Visitors park at the chalet and spend the night after consultation.
Smoking and waste: Smoke outside on the terrace. Waste can be put in the gray container in the yard and glass should be placed next to it.
Pets: Keep dogs on a leash in the yard. In the enclosed garden at the chalet, the dog can run free.
Questions or damages: Report damage or questions directly via WhatsApp or in person, so that it can be resolved.

Additional information

Goes, the heart of Zeeland, is centrally located to discover the most beautiful places by bike or car that are a nearsighted dignity in the province. From the chalet you can walk across the locks to the Goese Sas. there you can enjoy a snack and a drink at the Loze Vissertje on the terrace. The Goese Sas is the connection between the Port Canal of Goes and the Oosterschelde. Walking along the Oosterschelde is highly recommended in every season of the year! At 4 kilometers by bike you will find the heart of Goes with various museums and delicious restaurants. Goes is also the city to go shopping or enjoy a lovely terrace in the sun. Located 400 meters next to the chalet is the Goese golf course, where you can play a nice ball and afterwards have a drink in the brasserie. In Wilhelminadorp you will find restaurant Over de Kook, where you have a view of the Goese canal. You can also pick up many meals here to eat in the chalet. The Veerse Meer is a few kilometers from the chalet for water sports and a refreshing dip. The North Sea beaches are 30 minutes away by car. Also visit Middelburg or Zierikzee with their historical history.
