Holiday home “Zilte Wind” can accommodate up to 6 people (+ 1 baby bed). This luxurious detached holiday home (90m2) with sauna and fireplace is located on a beautiful idyllic lake. The house has recently been renovated and equipped with new furnishings, such as Montel leather sofas and leather dining room chairs, box spring beds. There are various maritime accessories, such as antique ship lamps, ship models, antique compasses, maritime wall decoration and upholstery. You will not soon encounter the atmosphere in the house elsewhere. The luxury kitchen is equipped with every comfort, such as a gas stove with combi microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, various coffee machines, fireplace (living room) and washing machine/dryer.
The modern bathroom has a bath, a walk-in shower, sink, fan and a sauna.
The very large sunny garden (832 m2) with lots of privacy is a wonderful place to relax.
There are 3 terraces, one of which has a large veranda of 5x3 meters, an outdoor fireplace, sandpit, various umbrellas, many garden chairs, sunbeds, garden bench, Weber BBQ, etc. The wooden terrace is on the water
sublime and with a bit of luck you will see the kingfisher or the very rare wryneck woodpecker (an ant-eating bird)) with only +/- 60 breeding pairs in the Netherlands.
The North Sea beach with various beach bars is about 5 km (Brouwersdam), the start of 21 km of beautiful sandy beach. There are plenty of cycling options, the head of Schouwen-Duiveland is a unique piece of nature with 21 kilometers of beach, plenty of forest and dunes. from the house you can cycle in the direction of the Brouwersdam and beyond. You should also visit Zierikzee, a beautiful monumental city. The old center with the harbor and the nice shops are well worth a visit.
