Just across the dike is the beach of Baarland, which is also popular with locals in the summer. From your towel you can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire Western Scheldt. At Brasserie de Landing you can enjoy a delicious meal with the same view. Baarland has a small station, which used to be on the tram line Goes - Hoedekenskerke. Today, the Goes-Borsele steam train still uses this station. With the historic steam train you can make a day trip between Goes and Hoedekenskerke, where the train stops in various villages along the route.
