Wake up to a rabbit or pheasant in your garden, feel the sand between your toes within a few minutes of cycling, and end the day with sun loungers, hammocks and a BBQ in your own sunny garden. This comfortable holiday home on Texel is the ideal place for families, nature lovers and peace seekers – all year round.
The house – bright, spacious and fully equipped
Inside, an attractive, bright living room with a spacious sitting area, fireplace and streaming TV awaits. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an extra toilet and a (modest) private sauna. The open kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and combination microwave – ideal for a relaxing stay.
The garden – sun, fun and long evenings
Outside you will find a playfully landscaped, sunny garden that is enclosed all around – perfect for children. With sun loungers, hammocks and grass to romp on, the garden offers relaxation for everyone. On the sheltered terrace you can enjoy long summer evenings, with a choice of two BBQs. And for children, the stuga/garden shed with two real beds is an unforgettable place to stay.
Location – on the edge of the dunes, close to the beach and nature
The house is located on the quiet and child-friendly Villapark Residentie Texel, right on the edge of the dunes. From here you can walk or cycle straight into nature. Within minutes you are on the beach or in the nearby nature reserves, where you can walk, cycle or spot birds.
Activities – from beach fun to adventurous outings
Sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves here: golf, parachuting, gliding, fishing, kite surfing, sailing, supping or kayaking – it's all possible in the immediate vicinity. Even the foot ferry to Vlieland is only 5 minutes away – including a spectacular 4x4 dune safari!
Access to De Krim – all facilities within easy reach
Guests of this house can use the extensive facilities of the adjacent Holiday Park De Krim. Think of a supermarket, various restaurants, swimming pool, bowling, laser tag, climbing park, bicycle rental and golf courses (partly for a fee).
On the island – taste, discover and experience Texel
Texel offers plenty of experience: visit sheep and cheese farms, picking gardens and even vineyards, or take part in creative workshops or cooking activities. Be sure to visit Ecomare, book one of their Wadden Sea excursions or get on the TX10/TX20 in Oudeschild for a trip along seals and shrimps.
And in case of rain? Still plenty to do
There is also plenty to do on less sunny days. Dive into the museums (Kaap Skil, the Beachcombers Museum, or the Texel Beer Brewery), or go with children to De Bonte Belevenis for fun indoor activities. And with the foot ferry you can easily reach Den Helder for a visit to the Navy Museum.
