This cute house is located in a small-scale and quiet bungalow park; Juniper.
The living room has an open kitchen, there are two bedrooms with mosquito nets on the windows and there is a bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, combination microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and an electric kettle.
The TV has the channels NPO 1,2 and 3, RTV Drente and RTV Oost. There is Chromecast available where you can stream your own television subscription. There is also a washing machine.
The cozy living room has French doors through which you walk to the garden with south-facing terrace. When the weather is nice you can barbecue outside on the barbecook. There is WiFi and if you wish you can also connect your laptop wired. The backyard is fenced and your pet (max 2) is welcome!
Here you can catch your breath and enjoy everything the Vechtdal has to offer. If you bring electric bicycles, you can charge them in the shed at the carport. There are beautiful routes here through forests and along waters. The sand drift of the Sahara is seven kilometers away. Baron van Pallandt had this sand drift afforested around 1840 to reduce further drift. A nice place to have a picnic if you are on your bike. But you will also pass beautiful places in the direction of Dalfsen. You will see storks, you can take the lock at Vilsteren, all of these special cycling tours can be done from the Vechtdalhuisje.
Ommen itself is a pleasant town on the Vecht. In the summer there are various activities with the Ommer Bissingh, an event that takes place every year in July and August with (flea) markets, fair, and all kinds of activities. The National Tin Figure Museum was founded in Ommen in 1985. After a renovation in 2006, the museum is considered one of the most beautiful tin figure museums in the world. Art and history are united in the museum. Ommen is also located on the Pieterpad. There are also two public swimming pools. An indoor and an outdoor pool. Both only a few kilometers (two and four) from the Vechtdalhuisje.
At the Laer estate there is a deer park with peacocks, deer and pigeons. This is a nice destination during a walk through the wooded area there. Wereldrestaurant de Lindenberg is located 300 meters from your accommodation, where you can enjoy excellent food. There are also plenty of attractive dining options in Ommen.
Present:
Garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, umbrellas, bicycle pump, barbecue, fire pit
On request: high chair, camping bed
Maybe see you soon!
