Quiet 4-person bungalow in the woods, close to Ommen – Ideal for nature lovers
Our bungalow is hidden in the greenery of 't Giethmenseveld, a quiet park near the pleasant town of Ommen. Here you can really come to yourself, surrounded by nature. In the garden there is often a coming and going of squirrels and birds, which makes it extra special. A nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle and do nothing. Feel like exploring the area? Our cottage is the perfect base. Whether you want to cycle through the picturesque Vechtdal, explore the local markets, go to an amusement park or visit one of the cosy cafés in the area – it's all possible. Cozy cottage
The bright, open-plan living room features underfloor heating, a comfortable seating area, a JBL Bluetooth speaker and a smart TV. After a day in nature, you can relax by the wood-burning stove.
The open kitchen is equipped with a combi oven/microwave, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, juicer, hand blender and various herbs and tea.
Superfast fiber optic internet ensures that you can easily stream your favorite series or even work remotely.
Bedrooms and bathroom
There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed (140x200 cm), for a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a double sink. The toilet is separate.
Outdoors
Bosbungalow Oosterhaard has a large garden of 900m², with plenty of privacy due to the surrounding trees and shrubs. Enjoy a meal outside at the garden table or relax in the hammock with a good book.
In the evening you can sit comfortably by the outdoor fireplace. From the garden you can step straight into a beautiful walking and cycling area. There are two bicycles waiting for you to explore the area.
Child-friendly facilities
The garden is spacious and ideal for children to play in. Inside is a suitcase ready with games, books and crayons for rainy days. Just a 5-minute walk away there is a playground with swings, sandpit, a slide and a cable car.
Facilities at the park
The park offers plenty of facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool (May-September) including paddling pools for the tiddlers, playground, tennis courts, a football pitch and a pétanque court. There's also a small library with books and more games, and a launderette with a washing machine and dryer.
Discover the area
The area is a paradise for nature lovers with nearby attractions such as the Sahara sand drifts, and the hills of the Lemelerberg, Archemerberg and Sallandse Heuvelrug. Perfect for hiking and biking! There are numerous activities for families, such as Outdoor Ommen, Adventure Park Hellendoorn, and Amusement Park Slagharen.Do you want to make a cultural trip? Then visit the Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zwolle for historic charm, atmospheric streets, and delicious restaurants.

- Check-in from 3:30 p.m. (contactless via key box).
- Check-out before 10:30 am.
- 1 dog allowed per stay (2 little ones in consultation).
- Bring your own bed linen, towels and fireplace wood.
- The house is non-smoking.
- The park is fireworks-free.
- Early check-in from 12 noon or late check-out until 4 pm is possible in consultation. We charge €35 for this.
