Oons Huuske

Oons Huuske is located in the small-scale forest park 't Giethmenseveld in the woods at the foot of the Lemelerberg. We renovated the house in early 2023. And they have a modern bathroom and new kitchen. But we have retained the feeling of a real forest house. The garden is also still a forest, so no lawn with a sleek terrace, but trees and moss, where it is wonderful for children to discover nature.

The house is on one level. The living room has a cozy seating area with a view of the garden. Here you can sit comfortably on the sofa and two armchairs by the wood-burning stove. The dining area is next to the open kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner induction hob, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, combination microwave and a refrigerator with freezer.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower.

One bedroom is located in the living room. We made a partition wall from scaffolding wood, so that a cozy niche was created with the necessary privacy.
There is also a separate bedroom.
Both sleeping areas have a double box-spring bed, a wardrobe for clothes and a suitcase rack.

The living room has a door to the garden and the terrace with garden furniture and a swing.
The storage room contains a drying rack, vacuum cleaner, cleaning products and a high chair.
The rent includes: Made beds, towels, kitchen towels and WiFi.
Parking is available at the house.

The small-scale park has a reception for information, bread service, and laundry. There is also a heated swimming pool (from mid-May to September) with a paddling pool, forest playground, tennis court and jeu de boules court.

The wooded area offers many recreational and active options. There are many cycling and walking routes, but you can also swim, canoeing, sailing and SUP on the Regge and the Vecht.
There are fruit and cattle farms to visit and taste the delicious regional dishes.
And of course there are many cozy terraces and restaurants in Ommen and the surrounding area.
