At the park At the park itself, in a converted farm, restaurant Fox, with a buffet restaurant and a beautiful terrace located on the water. Outside are some play equipment and inside the restaurant is a children's play paradise for the little ones with climbing equipment and ball pits. Immediate surroundings The area is ideal for those seeking tranquility, cyclists (including mountain bikers and cyclists) and walkers. In the vicinity are a large number of tourist attractions, such as the art town of Ootmarsum with numerous art galleries, the estate "het Singraven", the Almelo-Nordhorn canal, along which it is beautiful to cycle, nature reserve "het Lutterzand" with the flowing river Dinkel, recreation area "Het Hulsbeek" 20 minutes by car, etc. You can shop in the area in the cozy Oldenzaal or Ootmarsum, or just across the border in Nordhorn. Next to the park is the very large Oosterik garden center, which attracts people from far and wide. There are also several swimming pools in the area. There is the German Bad Bentheim with lots of forest and an old castle and for a slightly longer trip you can explore the beautiful historic Münster. There is another beautiful zoo in Nordhorn. The forest area just across the border at Uelsen is also wonderful for walking.
