After renting the house temporarily for a few years, we decided to turn it into a modern holiday home with all the luxury of today (2021). The outside walls and the roof are the only things we left standing, the rest has been completely renovated.
The house is located on a spacious plot in one of the most beautiful corners of the park, where numerous neighbors have also recently perfectly renovated their houses. The house has an interior area of 60m2 and there is a spacious veranda with beautiful garden furniture and a patio heater for when it gets chilly in the evening. You can easily park two cars in the spacious parking lot.
Located in beautiful Twente, close to the German border, it is an ideal place for cycling holidays or to completely relax. There are numerous beautiful towns, sights and very beautiful nature reserves in the vicinity.
We have made various interventions in the field of sustainability:
- Floor insulation + underfloor heating
- The old single glass has been replaced by HR++ insulating glass.
- The ceiling is additionally insulated with PIR plates.
- A PV system has been installed on the roof that provides ample energy for the house.
- An automated sprinkler system ensures less water consumption.
- The house has its own private 3-phase charging station from the Easee brand directly on its own parking lot.
Bungalow layout:
- The attractive living room has a beautiful corner sofa and a large TV with Chromecast. Is it too hot in the house? No problem then, turn on the air conditioning, which is nicely concealed in the ceiling.
- The kitchen with an attractive dining area is located in the same room. The new kitchen is fully equipped. A built-in combination oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, induction hob, dolce gusto coffee machine and kettle provides you with all amenities. The cupboards and drawers are equipped with an extensive range of cookware and tableware.
- The bathroom, like the rest of the house, has underfloor heating. You will find a designer radiator and a spacious washbasin here. The luxurious walk-in shower has a built-in rain shower. If you're thinking "that water feels different" you're right. The house is equipped with a water softener.
- The large, attractive bedroom has a beautiful double bed (160x200). You can store your clothes in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. Watching TV in the evening is possible as this room has its own TV with a Chromecast. This room is also connected to the air conditioning system.
- The small bedroom has two box springs (90x200), a chest of drawers and air conditioning.
- the side door gives you access to our veranda where you can relax on the very comfortable chairs. In the evening you can switch on the patio heater if it gets chilly. There are also two sockets with which you can charge electric bicycles.
- A new lockable garden shed has been installed where you can store and load your (electric) bicycles. The garden shed is 3x3 meters.
