Lots of water, walking, cycling and
equestrian opportunities in a vast nature reserve with heathland, forest, dunes and beach. Fishing in the park (North Holland Canal) but also on the North Sea.
Schoorl is famous for several fantastic mountain bike trails.

The old Dutch cities of Alkmaar, Hoorn and Schagen are in the vicinity and are very nice to visit.

Various amusement parks: de Goudvis, Holle bolle boom and Hoenderdael Zoo. the gnome path a lot of fun.

We, Annet & Chris, are very happy with our place in Schoorldam. In recent years we have modernized both the house and the garden. After a day of walking, cycling or on the beach it is wonderful to relax in our sunny spacious garden on the west. We have furnished our holiday home in such a way that it is very cozy (including fireplace) and fully equipped. It really is our second home! We like it when others enjoy our favorite spot too!

The gnome path and the water playground in the dunes at the visitor center in Schoorl.
The children are entertained for hours. And for the adults, a lot of interesting information is available in the center.

Adventure park for young and old

In Hargen aan Zee you will find a lagoon with a 'washed up' ship.
Also various restaurants on the beach and excellent parking

Nice climbing and play boat at a sheltered inland lake
