Villa Ooghduyne is a beautifully furnished, luxurious beach villa -with private spa- for 7 to 9 people, within walking distance of the dunes, beach and sea . The holiday villa has a fantastic free location on the 5-star Beach Resort Ooghduyne in Julianadorp aan Zee with a panoramic view of the dune landscape and the lighthouse.
The south-west facing garden of 700 m2 with various terraces offers a lot of privacy. There is a sunny, sheltered terrace with a lovely lounge set with parasol and large dining table. A shell terrace with an open fire pit, where you can sit around a cozy campfire in the evening. And a terrace with a private 4-person whirlpool, where you can enjoy a hydro-massage and a wave seat, overlooking (bulb) fields and the dunes. All the stress and fatigue will immediately slip away from you here.
The villa is quietly located at the end of a dead end street, so without traffic. There are 3 parking spaces on site. In the lockable storage room you will find various garden supplies, including cushions for the lounge sofa, barbecue and extra garden chairs. You can also store your own beach equipment here.
The park amenities and the beach exit are a short walk away. After 1200m you reach the dune entrance via a cycling and walking path (car-free), which provides access to the wide, quiet sandy beaches . You can enjoy a breath of fresh air along the kilometers of sandy beaches. Julianadorp-aan-Zee has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. There are several beach pavilions on the beach, of which Paal 6 is open all year round.
Description of the villa: The 140m2 living space with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms offers comfortable accommodation for 7 to 9 people. The villa is light and spacious, attractively furnished and fully equipped, such as WiFi wireless internet, TV, Apple TV, DVD player and a sound system. In the evenings in the living room, you can enjoy a wood-burning fireplace in the sitting area, or play games at the dining table. The living room is connected to a fully furnished and well-equipped kitchen (including an induction plate, large refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and microwave). The kitchen turns into the "winter garden", a conservatory with a glass roof and its own sitting area.
On the ground floor there is also a spacious 2-person bedroom and large bathroom with bath with shower, washing machine, dryer and baby table.On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (2-person, 1-person and 4-person with large double bed and a large, sturdy bunk bed) and a bathroom with a nice and spacious, separate shower. All bedrooms are equipped with first-class Auping beds (90x200) for a good night's sleep and are comfortably furnished.
Surroundings: The villa is located on the outskirts of Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne , one of the most exclusive parks in the Netherlands. The facilities are of excellent quality and offer a range of leisure activities, all within walking distance of our villa. The park is spacious and very suitable for families with children. Of course, all park facilities -some for a fee- are available to our guests. The main park facilities are: swimming pool with 55m super slide and rapids, solarium, sauna, playgrounds and fields, bouncy castle, indoor playground, tennis courts, bowling alley, mini golf, breakfast/sandwich service, bicycle and cart rental, brasserie and an A-status 9-hole golf course. Those who do not yet have a golf certificate can play on the 9-hole family golf course. For food and drinks you can visit Juliandorp, the beach pavilions or in the park at Brasserie Sandz and Restaurant Steaks & Burgers.
Besides the places worth seeing Callantsoog, Schagen, Schoorl, Bergen and Alkmaar (cheese market), many museums and various excursions are possible in the immediate vicinity, such as a visit to seals in Ecomare on Texel (ferry at 8 km). Or a day trip to Amsterdam (by train you can reach Amsterdam Central in 1:25 hours).
