CANCELLATIONS

If an agreement is cancelled, the tenant is not obliged to pay the reservation and 

administration costs (€ 75.-) are due the following cancellation costs:

• Cancellation must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours after notification by telephone.

• In case of cancellation up to the 42nd day before arrival date: you owe 20% of the travel sum

to Strandzicht Verhuur BV.

• In case of cancellation from the 42nd day to the 28th day before arrival date: you are charged 50% of the 

travel sum owed to Strandzicht Verhuur BV.

• In case of cancellation from the 28th day to the 14th day before the arrival date: you will be charged 90% of the 

travel sum owed to Strandzicht Verhuur BV.

• In case of cancellation 2 weeks from the day of arrival or later, you will have to pay the full travel sum 

to Strandzicht Verhuur BV.

If Strandzicht Verhuur BV is forced to cancel the information you have

holiday object, the following rules and obligations will be set out in 

Observed:

• Strandzicht Verhuur BV will first inform you of the cancellation by telephone, followed by 

by written confirmation.

• Strandzicht Verhuur BV undertakes to provide an equivalent or better holiday object as 

alternative.

• Strandzicht Verhuur BV will try to find the alternative under equal conditions (read:

rent and extra costs), but cannot guarantee this.

If the tenant does not accept the alternative, or if Strandzicht Verhuur BV does not have a suitable 

alternative, the travel sum already paid will be paid immediately on the basis of the

account number of the tenant refunded. The tenant cannot derive any further rights, 

amount already to be recovered as stated.

CANCELLATION AND/OR TRAVEL INSURANCE

• We advise you to take out cancellation insurance.
