Casa Obelisk is a house that is located in a quiet street in a new residential area in Hoofddorp in the Netherlands. 

Parking is free in front of the door. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 small room and a large attic. In addition, the house has a wonderfully spacious living room and a large garden for relaxation.  The house has a kitchen that is fully equipped. 

And do you like walking, cycling, running and swimming? Then this is the right place because you will find a beautiful large lake within a 5-minute walk.

My house is close to Schiphol. You can reach Hoofddorp within 20 minutes by bus. Amsterdam Central Station can also be reached within half an hour. All beautiful beaches can be reached within 20 minutes. You can enjoy cycling from my house through all kinds of meadows with windmills.

West Frisian market in Schagen during the summer months on Thursday morning with a large parade with horses and carriages. Well worth checking this out.
Wildrijk Park in Sint Maartensvlotbrug. Here you can see the wild hyacinths in April / May.

Tulip fields, Hyacinths, flower fields can be found in the vicinity of Sint Maarten.
There are various walking and cycling routes along the bulb fields and over the dikes. Enjoy the views.
In March/April/May you can see the beautiful colors of the many flower bulbs in the area.
Take a bike ride through the polders and see the many different colors over the fields.
Anna Paulowna and Breezand are the places where most flower bulb growers have their businesses. But also towards the beach of Sint Maartenszee you will encounter many flower fields along the way.
The most beautiful sunsets in the Netherlands can be found on the beach of Petten. Every year tourists come here to take the most beautiful pictures.
The Wheels in winter.
Long beaches where you can still lie quietly on a summer day or take a lovely walk.
You can fish for pike and carp in De Wielen. There is even a fishing spot in the middle of the walking bridge.
Flower days in Breezand. Here the most beautiful paintings and art objects are made with Hyacinth heads, which are displayed in the front gardens. The event is 5 days and usually in late April / early May.
A lot of manual work goes into this. You will be amazed what the residents can make with these flower heads.
