The beach lodge “The seahorse”

Just imagine: you wake up and the first thing you hear is the sound of the waves. The sun begins to shine and the salty air of the sea meets you. You will experience it in our beach lodge on the Garnekuul.

A nice small car-free park with two playgrounds for the children. Moreover, you can walk straight from the park to the beach or into the lively center.

What does this lodge offer?
This single-storey, fully modernized detached lodge with private garden is suitable for 4 people.

Living room/kitchen
In the spacious living room with smart TV, corner sofa and two armchairs is a separate dining area and a modern new kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. In addition, there is of course more than enough crockery available. From the living room you can access the terrace through the patio doors. The private south-facing garden has several seating areas, including a large picnic table, a lounge set and loose chairs.

There are 2 bedrooms:
1. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160 x 200), wardrobe and its own TV.
2. Bedroom 2 has a double bed (140 x 200), wardrobe and its own TV.

New bathroom!
The new bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink with drawers. There is an extra heating where you can dry/heat your towels. There is a night light for the little ones and a bathroom cabinet for your belongings. Hair dryer is available.

Nice to know!
You can use WiFi for free. Cars can be parked at the park in a large parking lot. The house is not far from the car park (220 meters / 3 minutes), so that is easy with luggage! In addition, the house has a handcart. Handy for your luggage and for a day out.

Enjoying the sea in Callantsoog: lots of tips!
During your holiday by the sea in Callantsoog, there is much more to experience besides enjoying the wide sandy beaches. Zwanenwater is a beautiful nature reserve for relaxing walks for the whole family. For the active holidaymaker, there are many water sports available on the beach, such as power kiting or supping. Schagen, Schoorl, Bergen aan Zee and Alkmaar are also around the corner from Callantsoog for a fun day out. And how about a day trip to Texel? The boat leaves from Den Helder, a 20-minute drive at most.

What better way to discover the area than by bike? Callantsoog has nice cycling routes on the beach, through the polder and the dunes. You can rent bicycles at Harry's Tweewielers in Callantsoog

Get some fresh air during a long walk on the beach or enjoy a good book on a warm summer day; There is plenty to do on the beach of Callantsoog.

There are several beach bars and an Ibiza-style lounge club on the beach. There are beach beds and umbrellas for rent everywhere. Surfboards / SUPs and other water sports equipment are also rented on the beach.

Canoe and climbing paradise
“Experience the Adventure” is located in De Helderse Vallei. Here you can rent a canoe and take several routes. You can also climb and clamber here in the climbing forest.
