Unusual holiday home in a Mediterranean atmosphere

You will experience a wonderful holiday in the middle of the cozy authentic artist village of Bergen with its terraces and shops within walking distance at Guesthouse In de Aap. Sea, Beach & Forest, Bergen aan Zee, Schoorl aan Zee, Egmond aan Zee just a stone's throw away, cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem & Amsterdam within a short reach, will also make your holiday complete. For us, casual experience and culinary enjoyment are central. Every Saturday you can make a reservation for our Mediterranean extension table.

Your garden shed "Casa de Familia", with two floors, is furnished in a Mediterranean atmosphere and fully equipped. If you want to bring your four-legged friend, you can, but you must request this. Of course you enjoy your own entrance and access to your house. Casa de Familia is suitable for 4 to 5 people. There is a spacious box bed, a sleeping loft (accessible via exciting stairs). In addition to your own terrace, you are welcome on the terrace in the garden of our Trattoria di Casa del Monte for a snack and a drink. Are you ready for sauna, massage and/or yin yoga? That is also possible at In de Aap.

Emile van den Bergh, television director and interior designer, is the chef and owner of Guesthouse & Apartments In de Aap and runs it with heart and soul. Emile is a purist where authenticity is the standard. “Trattoria di Casa del Monte” is Chef Emile's pride and he cooks the stars from heaven. Enjoying his Mediterranean dishes together is oil for friendship. Eating outside in the garden is also a wonderful experience.
