Our 2nd home where we also let others enjoy.
Holiday park Het Vosseven
The living room has been completely renovated.
Our new sofa is wonderful and positioned so that you have a fantastic view to the outside.
We also bring the outside atmosphere inside.
Coffee and tea are always ready (please switch on yourself :-))
The kitchen and living room are situated in the same room. The kitchen has recently been completely renovated and equipped with a dishwasher.
The worktop has a lot of space. A Senseo coffee machine and a kettle are provided.
The dining table is in the kitchen and has 4 seats. In the small rooms there are possibly 2 more seats that can be moved.
Propane gas is used for cooking.
Deer are the theme of the house. In the old bread cupboard you will find the bread bin and the glasses.

Kempen ~ Broek Border Park is a 25,000 hectare (250 km²) Dutch and Belgian cross-border landscape characterized by a succession of nature areas. It is located in the provinces of Dutch Limburg and Belgian Limburg, roughly between Weert and Maaseik.

Depending on the occasion, you can sit or lay down on several patios in front or behind the house.
The house is surrounded by lush greenery, suitable for both two legged and 4 legged creatures.
The diner table is big enough for 6 and so is what you need for a good diner. Cups, plates, glasses in old fashion style are for every day use in the large wooden cabinet, full of interesting table ware.
Cozy lights are a specialty of a Dutch household. The lights can be lowered and are suitable for reading as well as ambience accents. Heating is central but can be enhanced by our pellet stove.
Master bedroom Extra pillows and an extra winter comforter is available for colder nights.
The second bedroom, for the kids, or for an another couple. The beds are two singles but can easily be turned into a double bed.
The kitchen is well equipped and pleasant. Electric cooking, air fryer, micro-wave, various forms of coffee making, mixer, blender. It's all there!
Bathroom is small indeed but suffices. The shower works fine. To be truthful, it is still on our list of desired renovations. But it is perfectly functional as is.
One of the little outside terraces, suitable for breakfast, among others.
If you want to withdraw from the party, you can take a book and sit down in more isolation.
And then there are a number of smaller sheds, turned into a little studio and what we call our Ibiza Pergola, where you can sit outside, even when the weather is not cooperating.
Yes this is me, Antoinetta Vogels when we first finished the Ibiza Pergola. Perfect to hang out with a book, a cigarette, because you can smoke here if you choose to do that, meditate or have a good conversation. Even a lighthearted one wouldn't be out of place.
This picture gives you a clear idea of the immediate environment of the house.
This little fence is more symbolic then used as an entrance. We mostly enter the house with shoppings and such, coming form the carport where we park our car and protect it of the signs and symptoms of the presence of the many birds and squirrels.
The studio is an isolated workplace, where the internet is still active. You can find it in one of the little sheds.

Access to the heated pool of Parc de Kievit is for free and at 5 minutes walking distance of the house. Of course instead of walking you can also take one of the bicycles that are waiting for you in one of the sheds.

Entrance to Parc de Kievit, where you can park you car (for free) if you, or your guest, don't want to bring it all the way to the house.
What you see here is the map for Parc de Kievit. Unfortunately you can't zoom in on it to see that the Vogelhuis (#278) is situated in the area close to the bottom line of the triangle, thinking an imaginary perpendicular line down from the top of the triangle. I know it is a bit of a riddle.

Wonderfully open the door, so you bring the outside in.
