Holiday house

Escape the hustle and bustle of the day and unwind in Bumblebee Cabin, located on the small-scale wooded park 'Kempenbos'. This unique and tastefully decorated cabin is the perfect place for couples, friends or solo travelers looking for a holiday in nature. After a day full of adventures, you can warm up in the private sauna or enjoy the crackling fire in the outdoor fireplace.

The space

Sip a good glass of wine by the outdoor fire at the edge of the forest, step into the private sauna to warm up or cook a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen. You can eat these on the picnic bench on the spacious and sunny deck when the weather is nice. If the rain taps against the windows, it is also wonderful to stay inside, light the wood stove and settle down on the lounge sofa with a good book, play one of the many board games or cocoon in bed with a good movie or series.

Feel like taking a break? The surroundings of Bumblebee Cabin are beautiful. The cabin is located in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek. A municipality with miles of cycling and walking pleasure of vast forests, beautiful heathland, fairytale fens and hospitable farms. You will pass through authentic Brabant village centers such as Diessen, Esbeek, Biest-Houtakker, Baarnschot and Hagehorst, where you should not forget to make a stop at the most beautiful village square in the Netherlands, the Vrijthof in Hilvarenbeek, with numerous cozy terraces and good restaurants. Fancy a day in the city? Tilburg and Eindhoven are close by. And did you know that you can spot the Big Five within cycling distance at Safaripark Beekse Bergen? Haven't experienced enough yet? With half an hour's drive you are on one of the many roller coasters of the Efteling amusement park. So whether you are a hiker, cyclist, culture lover, adventurer or Burgundian, this area has it all!

Other things to note

Chalet park 'Kempenbos' has no reception or concierge and there are no park facilities. All cottages are from private owners. From the car park, you walk along a car-free path to a diverse and wild mix of cottages; new, old, hidden, big, small and work-in-progress.

Check-in is contactless by means of a key box that hangs at the entrance door of the cabin. You will receive the access code a few days before your stay.

Chalet park 'Kempenbos' is located directly behind Summio Parc Duc de Brabant. Here you will find a restaurant, a park shop with fresh bread rolls and from May to September the outdoor pool is open, which you can use for free as a guest of Bumblebee Cabin.

Please note that the cottage may not be comfortable and/or suitable for people with walking difficulties.
