Due to covid19 we have started to look at our own living environment with different eyes and we have (re)discovered how beautiful Limburg actually is in many areas such as nature, culture, but also catering and activities. As a result, we decided at the beginning of 2021 to buy a beautiful holiday home on the edge of the Maasplassen in Stevensweert to let other people enjoy all the beauty that Limburg has to offer.

Our house has a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious garden with lots of privacy. The house has a kitchen including microwave, refrigerator, freezer, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. In the cozy living room you will find a nice TV on which the standard Ziggo channels can be seen and of course the house is equipped with WiFi.

The holiday park is located on the Maasplassen and from our house you are a 3-minute walk from a sandy beach where you can enjoy a swim.

Near the house (max 3 km) you will of course find next to the Maasplassen, the beautiful Hompesche Molen (between Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak), the ruins in Ohé en Laak and don't forget to try the delicious Laaker Boere Ies (ice cream). to taste when you walk or cycle towards the ruins. You can then cross the Maas with the bicycle ferry to explore the Belgian side of the Meuse. A little further away you will find the Outlet in Roermond and more to the south beautiful Maastricht and the South Limburg hills in Valkenburg or the three-country point in Vaals. In short, too many to mention. As a welcome attention, there are a few cups of coffee and tea (make it yourself 😊) and a small snack ready for you.

We are Miranda and Eric Grispen resp. 53 and 56 years young and have 1 son Kyro aged 19. All three of us were born and raised in the beautiful middle of Limburg and also enjoy going on holiday ourselves. We mainly go on holiday with our camper in the countries Austria, Italy and all countries bordering on these countries. Our hobbies are mountain biking, skiing, hiking and like to combine these activities with a snack and a drink on site.

This monumental mill is located on the edge of the Molenplas between Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak. Here you will find a very beautiful nature reserve and a beautiful walking route in addition to a snack and a drink
