Holiday home in Limburg (Beesel) in the woods all alone on the water. Not at a holiday park. In the middle of nowhere . With many forest and sandy roads for wonderful walks and dozens of beautiful cycling routes . Dogs welcome (free).A nature reserve with badgers, foxes, deer and beavers, at the dead arm of the Maas and the Swalm. Your terrace overlooks the wooded landscape of Limburg , where you will be surprised by animals and plants. Excellent fishing and bird migration area.
Living room 10 meters long, open kitchen, patio doors to the garden. With DVD player and television. Spacious bathroom with washing machine. Kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, gas burners, senseo, kettle and crockery. One has to go through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom. All with central heating. Bring your own linen. Duvets and pillows are provided.
Nice garden chairs. BBQ possibility. Baking pizza in an outdoor oven. Pick forgotten vegetables in the vegetable garden for free, if available!

Nature and environment
Enjoy Limburg's beauty . The holiday home is located in Rijkel aan het bos, near the lovely village of Beesel, voted the "Greenest Village of the Netherlands" and known for the Drakenteken festival.
The forest is part of the Maas-Swalm-Nette nature reserve . Sitting on the terrace you have a view of the unspoilt Meuse valley. There is a lot of nature around the ruralhut. It is an official quiet area , it is very quiet. The paths lead through the woods and fields with a view of the rivers Swalm and Maas . There are many forest and dirt roads for a nice walk . With dozens of beautiful cycling routes . Possibility of fishing.
A foot ferry to Neer in season. With children's playground, football goals and trampolines. Shops five minutes by car. 3 kilometers from Swalmen station. The Pieterpad is 4 kilometers from here. The A73 is seven minutes by car. The cottage is eight kilometers from the largest brand outlet center in Europe: the Designer Outlet McArthurGlenn in Roermond.

The landlord Jac Nijskens owns Landhoeve Rijkel, the Historische Groentehof and cooking studio. He studied agriculture and business administration at Wageningen University&Research. The concept of forgotten vegetables did not yet exist before the historic vegetable garden was set up. The concept was so unique at the time that Jac Nijskens had it registered as a brand name. Nijskens considers the best definition for this term to be that which is no longer included in the daily eating pattern.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Any cancellation must be notified in writing to J. NIJSKENS. J. NIJSKENS charges the following amounts, depending on the date of cancellation by the tenant:
* cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: 25 euros.
* cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental.
* cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental.
* cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rent.
* For bookings on Christmas and New Year's Eve (period starting on 15 December), a cancellation fee of 45 euros applies to a cancellation, added between 180 and 60 days in advance 50% of the rent, within 60 days 100%. If the tenant does not use the holiday home or leaves it before the end of the rental period, no refund will be made.
