The "NIeuwhuys" is the original residence of the Nieuwhuys farm from 1730 and is surrounded by trees, fields and meadows. The farm is a national monument with striking walls, so-called  bacon layers (marl interspersed with old bricks), and is part of the hamlet of "Terstraten", a protected village view with old half-timbered farms in hilly Limburg. Because the house is located on the plateau, it has a beautiful wide view from all sides. It is located directly on the Pieterpad, the Pelgrimspad and on the cycling network South Limburg. This makes it a very good base for beautiful cycling, walking and horseback riding trips, but also for day trips to, for example, Maastricht, Heerlen, Valkenburg, Liège and Aachen.

Het Nieuwhuys is a beautiful and cozy semi-detached house with up to 11 beds, wood stove, parking for three cars, a gatehouse, a beautifully landscaped sunny garden with terrace and an authentic, large, sunny courtyard with complete privacy.
The house has two double bedrooms, a room with a bunk bed, 1 single room and a large bedroom with a fixed double bed and possibly two additional single beds.

Welcome to our beautiful holiday home, part of the monumental farm " Niewhuis ", located between the hills in the municipality of Beekdaelen. The location is unique, as it is on top of the hills in Nuth. The house is part of the scenic Terstraten that lies downhill. The house has been in the family for 150 years and used by several generations to retreat in peace after the busy working life. We would like to share this peace with other people.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

When cancelling the holiday home, you will be charged 30% of the basic rent up to 43 days before the day of arrival. From 42 to 29 days before arrival 60%, from 28 days to 1 day before arrival 90% and on the arrival day or later 100% of the basic rent. The decisive day is the day on which the cancellation is reported to the landlord. Changing the departure date is considered a (partial) cancellation. .
