Our holiday home 't Sonnetje is a unique house with lots of atmosphere. You can enjoy a comfortable and spacious home (8 people. Up to 10 in consultation!) with many extras in the middle of a beautiful and peaceful forest and water-rich environment.

The house is child-friendly and there is a playground around the corner. The house is suitable for people who have difficulty walking because of the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor.

The garden is sunny and offers a lot of privacy and has a beautiful semi-open garden house. A nice place to sit and have a barbecue or relax in the hammock. In autumn, squirrels can regularly be seen looking for walnuts from the old walnut tree.

't Sonnetje is located on the edge of the village of Milsbeek, 17 km south of the beautiful city of Nijmegen; near the Pieterpad and the route of the Nijmegen 4-day event. So for those who love culture: the city of Nijmegen, but also Kleef, Kevelaer, Goch and Xanten in Germany are close by!

The recreational lake 'de Mookerplas', 1 1/2 km away, is a wonderful place for everyone. There is a large, safe beach with playground and toilets. The forest (St. Jansberg) is within walking distance and very beautiful in all seasons, as is the Mookerheide with a beautiful view over the Maas valley!

Welcome, nice that you are taking a look at 't Sonnetje!

I'm Joyce Waterval. In the summer of 2006, my husband and I bought this sunny house, part of my parental home (farm from around 1900). Because we are very happy with this special house and place and my sister Sonja lived here, we did not have to think long about a name: 't Sonnetje! It is a pleasure to relax here, and we do that regularly ourselves. Now you can come and enjoy it too!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The weekend, midweek and weekly prices mentioned on the calendar are up to 4 people. Costs for more than 4 people: € 15 pp/pdn.
The additional costs on top of the basic rent are:

Cleaning costs (incl. waste, reservation, etc.) € 110, -
Energy € 15 p.d.
Tourist tax € 1.35 p.p.p.n.
Deposit € 200, - (you will get this back when there is no damage and 't Sonnetje is left tidy)

Optional costs:

Bed linen € 10 p.p.
Pet (in consultation) € 7,- p.d.p.n.

Additional information

The garden is large and faces south and offers lots of privacy! In fine weather, lots of sun, but shade from the beautiful old walnut tree. It also can relax in the spacious, open shed. There is table tennis and large trampoline in the garden. There is a firepit and barbeque.Een lovely spot for evening barbeques! And ... regularly walk there squirrels in the garden! In short ... a nice place to unwind.

The kitchen is spacious and sunny. Practical and space all for a wonderful meal. Everything is in place, dishwasher, microwave, oven, Senseo and include filter bags and spices. Also a good place at the dinner table you read the newspaper!

The living room is very cozy and especially in the winter gives the stove a comfortable heat. There is a large dining table with 8 chairs. (In the garage are more seats that can be placed). In the lounge is a TV, DVD and VCR Surround. There are also several videotapes, DVDs and CDs available. The sliding door opens onto terrace and garden, but this is also accessible from the kitchen.
From the living room bedroom 3 toilet and a small bathroom accessible.

The large bathroom has a spacious bath, two sinks, toilet and separate shower stall. The window overlooks the garden! Elsewhere on the ground floor is a second bathroom with shower and sink and second toilet. There are plenty of towels. Washcloths s.v.p. yourself.
