Rural holiday home in South Limburg
This beautiful holiday home can be found a stone's throw from the bustling (Christmas City) Valkenburg and of course Maastricht. The house is suitable for 2 to 4 people and is located in a rural and quiet location. The house is special because it was built with Kunrader stone, a type of limestone that resembles the Limburg marl. Today, Kunrader stone is only mined at the Kunrader quarry. From the living room you look directly at the wooden construction of the roof. The house therefore has a very authentic look. The house is fully equipped. There is a living room with a nice sofa, dining table and TV. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, combi oven, hob and fridge (with freezer). The downstairs bedroom has a shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with two single beds on the upper floor that you reach via a miller's staircase. Super fun for kids.
From the covered terrace you have a beautiful view of the Limburg landscape.
The holiday home is located in the middle of the hills of South Limburg. There are numerous walking and cycling routes in the area. The house is therefore ideal for e.g. a couple of friends who want to cycle in Limburg. Would you rather spend a day shopping? Then you can of course go to Maastricht, but the German city of Aachen is also nearby.
