This cottage is located in a wooded area,
From the house you can walk straight into the beautiful forest. There are several walking routes in this area,

Next to the park is the Korenburgerveen, a beautiful nature reserve for a nice walk. Natuurmonumenten also has a beautiful route for walking there.

Just a short distance away is the recreational lake t'Hilgelo where the children can swim.
If the weather is not so good, you can also go to the indoor swimming pool Jaspers, which is also a short distance away.
The quarry in Winterswijk is also worth a visit, there you will find a beautiful protected nature reserve. The eagle owl has its breeding ground there.
If you just cross the border (Germany) you will find Zwillbroek where you can see flamingos in the Zwillbrockervenn where you can also make wonderful walks.

Furthermore, this area is also ideal for making beautiful cycling trips. When you return home, it is wonderful to relax in the beautiful forest garden again.

The village of Winterswijk has a pleasant center, with many shops and many restaurants with terraces around the church.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The arrival days in the high season (May to October) are on Friday.

In the low season also weekends and midweeks can be booked and therefore arrival on Mondays is also possible.

The arrival time is 15.00 but in consultation later is also possible, then I will have the keys ready for you.

It is possible to book bed linen and I will make the beds for you, so that your holiday can start immediately upon arrival !!

Can you picture it? Would you like a delicious breakfast at the large table with 6 chairs? View of the garden with the birds? Guests have seen a squirrel (December 2019) but I myself have not yet. I know they are there so come and see for yourself!

In the living room a cozy fireplace. Furthermore, a comfortable bench and 2 comfortable chairs. You can watch TV or put on a nice DVD. There are some DVDs in the cupboard.
All kinds of birds in the garden. This young great spotted woodpecker also found the garden in May 2020.
Nice relax chairs on the terrace next to the patio door. You can walk straight into the garden from the room.
Nice living room with patio doors to the garden and a large table of 2.20 m with 6 chairs. Great to play a game!
Nice cooking in the kitchen. We have good pans in all shapes and sizes and even a steam pan. You can cook on an electric hob. Furthermore, the basic things are available such as salt and pepper, spices, kitchen rolls etc. Kitchen linen is also ready for you.

This photo shows a piece of the front garden (May 2020). In the summer the Hydrangeas bloom beautifully! In the spring the large Rhododendron. This is how it is beautiful every season.
In the garden a lovely terrace with a view of the opposite meadow.
Nothing to add right? Sit outside. Let the spring come.
Large table to play games at!
The smaller bedroom on the ground floor has a comfortable box spring. The beds are of course made when you come! There is also a wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom.
A cot (Bopita) can be placed in the large bedroom, but this can also be placed in the smaller room upstairs. There is a large comfortable box spring and a cozy seat. In the photo the bed is made up as 2 single beds. A 3rd bed can be added on request
The large upstairs bedroom of 30m2 is spacious and cozy. There is a good box spring that can also be made up as 2 separate beds as in this photo. There is also a seat.

The bathroom was installed at the end of October 2019. There is a nice bathtub with a separate shower area with rain shower and hand shower. Of course also a large radiator so that it is comfortably warm. There is a separate toilet, so handy with more family members in the house!

There are beautiful picnic benches around the house.
This is the terrace on the side of the house at the entrance of the holiday farm. The shed is the house of the goats.
The kitchen with a 5-burner stove, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven and a combination microwave. In addition, there is a high table in the kitchen where you can comfortably stand or sit around.
In the kitchen is a high table with 6 bar stools attached to it.
There are twelve chairs for the dining table.
There is an open kitchen where you can easily walk into the living room and dining room.
The holiday farm has a cupboard with all kinds of games/books.
Upon entering you enter the large hall with coat rack and freezer. Here is also the toilet and a storage room. When you walk through the hall you enter the former stable where the children can now play.
