Rental of a minimum of 30 nights per stay. Would you like to rent a holiday home in a bungalow park (with free indoor swimming pool)? Detached, beautiful large veranda, cozy light inside, beautiful view, free wifi, central heating, high ceiling with two skylights, parking at the holiday bungalow (2 cars), shed with electricity, spacious plot of 600m2. Between Stroe, Garderen and Voorthuizen on the edge of the Veluwe. Free access to the swimming pools of Recreatiepark De IJsvogel. Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The park is located on the territory of Voorthuizen (municipality of Barneveld).  Within 1km you can walk in the vast forests of the Veluwe. Great hiking and biking opportunities.

The chalet is located between Voorthuizen, Garderen and Stroe. It is a great place for those seeking peace and quiet. At the main entrance, everything is more vibrant, with, for example, the playgrounds, swimming pools, bowling alleys, snack bar, restaurant, etc. For walkers and cyclists it is a nice central starting point, in the direction of Apeldoorn through the woods and over the heath or in the direction of Amersfoort along the many meadows. Nijkerk, Putten and Barneveld are also easy to cycle. There are also museums in the vicinity.

Almost from the very beginning of the Sophia Hoeve, we have been proud owners of a holiday bungalow in this part of the park of Recreatielandgoed De IJsvogel. We have been renting this house for many years and like to come to the park ourselves. It is always great to hear that the tenants think this is such a great place.
We ourselves live in the province of Utrecht. Our children also regularly go to Voorthuizen, especially the swimming pool is an attraction. Bye? John & Rick.

Rain or shine, always fun! Megapret is an outdoor and indoor playground where there is plenty to do for young and old. There is an indoor playground of 1500 m2, and an outdoor playground with traffic square, water playground and an 18-hole adventure golf course of 20,000 m2.

In the adjacent forest area de Schans, there is a large fishing pond and there are various walking, cycling and mountain biking routes. Here you will also find the English Schans, a historic place. It played a major role in the Battle of Grolle in 1627.

Almost nowhere else in the Netherlands is the variety of the landscape so varied; Forests, meadows, flower verges, streams, hedges, farms and castles form a beautiful bocage landscape.
Enjoy one of the many regional products or a beer or wine brewed in the Achterhoek. The Achterhoek has a lot to offer. Both in Lichtenvoorde and Groenlo there is a cozy square on the market with restaurants and cafes and many terraces.
The Vragenderveen and Korenburgerveen and are part of a unique piece of raised bog with a rich flora and fauna is definitely worth a visit. There are various walking and cycling routes around the peat area and there is a watchtower where you have a beautiful view of the area.
Do you like peace and quiet, walking, cycling, photography, or horseback riding? In the Achterhoek you will find an enormous amount of special forests, fens, heaths and waters. There is plenty to discover. Put on your walking shoes and discover the nature reserves of the Achterhoek.
During a walk in the Zwillbrocker Venn nature reserve, just across the German border near Groenlo, you can watch flamingos. A special bird area and definitely worth a visit.
