Near the cozy village of Voorthuizen, the Veluwe forests and heath areas and just outside the quiet chalet park 'De Huifkar' is our fine, somewhat private location and artistically furnished 'CHALET PALET' .

The location is ideal for peace seekers, walking and cycling enthusiasts (with or without dogs), but also for artists who want to find inspiration in nature and / or want to work quietly. Enjoy your holiday or weekend away in a personal atmosphere ! The chalet is 52 m2, has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 people . It is located on a plot of over 200 m2 and has various seating options on the terrace with a lovely enclosed south-facing garden . There is a log cabin with power and lock available in which your possibly. can bring your own (electric) bicycles.

We, Fonny & Przemek, also want others to enjoy our recreation chalet and lovely green spot on the edge of the Veluwe. Fonny has been a painter for years and enjoys exhibiting some of her animal paintings on old wood. There are also works of art by div. other artists. Feel the warmth and personality in our colorful chalet! Our motto is: 'Move through life, like a real artist of life'

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Good to know:

Chalet Palet can be booked from a minimum of 3 nights.
In the months of July and August only rental possible from one week.

Price includes:

WiFi
Bed linen, bed linen, shower linen & kitchen linen (if you stay longer than a week, there is a weekly change of all linen)
Use of bicycles
Dogs welcome, max. 2. A towel is also provided for each dog.
Energy costs

Price excluded:

Final cleaning costs: 40,-
Tourist tax € 0.93 p.p.p.n.
Deposit € 100 (the deposit will be returned to you within a week after the departure date, provided that everything is present, undamaged, neatly left and not smoked inside)

Week - Mon. from 14.00 to Mon. 10.00 a.m.
Midweek Mon. from 14.00 to Fri. 10.00 a.m.
Weekend off. from 14.00 to Mon. 10.00 a.m.

Payment & Terms

After you have received a confirmation via e-mail, we ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the total rent within 8 days. Only then is your reservation final. The remaining 75% must be paid 4 weeks before the start of your holiday.

For (last minute) bookings less than four weeks before the start of the event, the full amount must be paid immediately.

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel, the following rules apply:

Up to 4 weeks before arrival date we refund 75% of the total rent.
Up to 2 weeks before arrival date we refund 50% of the total rent.
After that, no refunds will be made.
