Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing holiday in our charming detached holiday home / Veluwe farm "Hoeve de Zuidrand" located in the private park 'de Goudsberg' in the beautiful Veluwe forests. The house is surrounded by forest, heathlands and sand drifts. Whether you want to walk, cycle, mountain bike or horse ride, our holiday home offers the perfect base. There are numerous walking and cycling routes available, as well as several MTB routes. The forest starts 100 meters from the property.

The House
Our detached Veluwe farm was completely modernized in 2022 and can accommodate up to six adults. With three bedrooms and a baby cot, the cottage is ideal for families, a weekend away with friends and nature lovers.

The house has three bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the other bedroom has two single beds that can also be put together to form a double bed. The third bedroom is located on the mezzanine floor and has a height of 1.60 m. There are also two separate single beds here, which can be pushed together if desired.

The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, extractor hood, combination microwave, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer combination. For culinary enthusiasts there is a Weber coal barbecue. Do not feel like cooking? There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Various books and board games are available for relaxation.

The garden
The large, sunny south-west facing garden of over 425 m2 offers a lot of privacy and is unique because from the house and the garden you can admire the alpacas that graze in the adjacent meadow. There is a sauna in the garden that offers a view of the meadow through the smoked glass back. The sauna is suitable for up to 6 people and is wood-fired.

Environment
Diagonally behind the house (5 minutes walking distance) is the Pancake House "Het Uilenbos" with a large outdoor playground and a petting zoo, fantastic for children.

At the adjacent recreation center "De Goudsberg" you can use tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a mini golf course for a fee. There is also a football field, table tennis and various play equipment.

Lunteren is a charming village located in the heart of the Netherlands, just a 5-10 minute drive/cycling (1.5 km). In the center of Lunteren there are nice shops, a supermarket and restaurants. The surrounding areas offer numerous recreational opportunities such as the Hoge Veluwe National Park (14 km), the Ginkelse Heide (12 km), Het Luntersche Buurtbosch (500 m), the Pinetum De Dennenhorst (1.5 km), the geographical center of the Netherlands (750 m), swimming in the Bosbad Lunteren (heated) (1.5 km, only a 15-minute walk through the forest!), zoos and wellness resorts.

Moreover, it is a short distance from various cities such as Amersfoort, Utrecht and Ede, where you can enjoy city life, visit museums or go shopping.

You can check in earlier or check out later for a small fee and upon consultation. You will receive a confirmation or rejection of your request one week before the booking.

Parking
There is space for two cars on the private property. On-site parking is free.

Bed and bath linen
The beds are made for every booking and we provide a large and small towel per person. There is also a set of kitchen linen, a bath mat and a towel for the toilet.

What to pay attention to:
• The cottage is large enough for up to 6 adults. Children up to 3 years old are also welcome as a 7th guest. High chair, children's dishes and camping bed are available. You must bring your own sheets and blankets for this.
• The bedroom on the mezzanine floor is approximately 1.60m high, please note that this is very low for adults.
• Pets are welcome. We charge €25 per pet
• Our house is smoke-free.
• We do not rent to groups.
• The house is not suitable for wheelchairs.
• We have a ring doorbell aimed at the driveway. This is switched on during the stay.
The minimum number of nights is 2 nights (except public holidays and school holidays). During the summer holiday period, a minimum stay of 3 nights applies, with arrival/departure on Monday or Friday.
