Welcome to Erve Lindehof! In 2024, our horse stable will be partially converted into a comfortable home with an area of 85m2. On the ground floor is a living room with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. The upper floor consists of a spacious bedroom with a magnificent view. The house has a central heating system, underfloor heating and 2 air conditioners. Outside you have a private garden with a terrace. There is a charging station for electric drivers.

In beautiful surroundings, our nature house is located at the foot of the Lochemse berg with a view over meadows and forest. Close to the river Berkel and 1km from Lochem. With numerous and versatile hiking and biking trails nearby, you can easily explore the area. In particular the eight castles route, the Pieterpad, the many cycling junctions or the most beautiful MTB route in the Achterhoek. Also visit the Hanseatic city of Zutphen or Deventer, the smaller villages in the area or the Witte Wieven.

There is also the possibility to work on your recovery or development with the help of physiotherapy and (horse) coaching.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The prices are based on a basic rate of 130 euros during the week and 185 euros at the weekend. For a whole week we use a discount of 15%. Depending on the period, we apply an additional discount. We apply a surcharge for the May, summer and Christmas holidays.

The river Berkel flows behind our house. It is beautiful to walk along this river in the direction of Lochem or in the direction of Nettelhorst. When you walk in the direction of Lochem, you will also come across the Cloese.

In the rolling landscape between Lochem and Barchem there are two hills: the Lochemse Berg and the Kale Berg. It is a varied area with forests, interspersed with farmland and hedgerows.

Castle de Cloese is located east of Lochem. The castle is located on the river Berkel and within walking distance of the Lochemse Berg.

The castle was built in 1520 by the Lochem priest Sweder van Kervenheim. This house used to be a manor. The current appearance is mainly due to a major renovation in 1886 under the direction of the Hague architect Nic. Miller sr. In the 90s, the Cloese served as a police school.

Tip: Take a walk along the Berkel or enjoy a trip with the Berkelzomp on the Berkel and enjoy this beautiful castle.
The castle is privately inhabited and unfortunately cannot be visited from the inside!

The Belvédère stands at the highest point – 49.2 m – of the Lochemse berg. It was built in 1893 and was an important tourist attraction in the municipality of Lochem for a long time. Belvédère, the name says it all: watchtower, a tower that offers a beautiful view. But the trees of the young forest grew and in 1912-1913 it was already necessary to raise the tower by two meters.

Around 1954, the Belvédère also got a function as a so-called air watchtower for the Dutch Aviation Service. More about this can be read on the page Belvédère as air watchers.

The trees have now literally grown above the tower. In 1977 it was closed for security reasons.

In 1992, the tower was placed on the municipal monument list. There are plans to restore the Belvedere and reopen it to the public.

Zwiep is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland, in the municipality of Lochem.

Zwiep became known for the local baker who used the legend of the white wives to make his tavern belonging to the bakery more attractive to day trippers. In 2008, this has grown into a small theme park about the white women who would still make the nearby Lochemerberg unsafe at night. Another attraction is the Zwiepse Molen.
