My attractive holiday home in Kootwijk on the Veluwe to relax. In a sunny spot in a quiet and beautiful chalet park. Located directly near the Kootwijkerzand and the forest, this place is an ideal base for exploring the area.
Suitable for 1-4 people and non-smoking .
And dogs are welcome ! (max. 2 small/medium dogs)

The little house
The living room is stylish and cozy! There is a sofa and two armchairs. There is a smart TV with cable connection, and of course there is WiFi. From the living room you can go through the sliding doors to the terrace, where there is an awning. There are four chairs around the dining table. The kitchen has a (Nespresso) coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator & freezer, gas stove, combination microwave, sandwich maker and toaster. And of course there is crockery, cutlery and pans. A number of coffee cups for the first day, tea, spices, garbage bags and items for washing up are provided. We request that you replenish this when these are (almost) gone, so that the person after you also has something.
The large bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with a nice large duvet and wardrobes. The small bedroom has two single beds (80 x 200 cm) and a number of smaller cupboards (these hang high). A camping bed and a high chair are available for babies (please let us know in advance and I will make sure it is ready). The bathroom has a toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. I have two toilet rolls ready for you. Bath towels and shower gel/shampoo are NOT provided.
All windows are equipped with a mosquito net!
Outside the house
On the terrace there is a garden table with four chairs and an awning. At the rear there are two lounge chairs where you can sit with a view of the pond.
In the lockable shed there is space to store bicycles and a socket to charge electric bicycles. Because open fire is prohibited in dry weather, I have an electric BBQ in the shed, so that the BBQ can always be turned on. The garden at the front is closed with a gate. There is no fence on the side of the pond, so be careful with small children.
There is parking space for one car at the house. You will be provided with a transmitter to open the gate to enter the park by car. A €100 deposit is required for the transmitter. There is parking space outside the park, along the side of the road. an extra car.
Dogs are welcome
A maximum of two small or medium sized dogs are welcome in my cottage. The accommodation costs €40 per dog. Bring your own basket and food and water bowl. I don't like it when dogs lie on the beds and this is also in terms of hygiene towards the other guests, so please take this into account. If your dog wants to sit on the couch, bring your own rugs for the couch where the dog can lie. Cats are not allowed in my house.
Kerkendel estate
My house is located on the chalet park “Landgoed Kerkendel”. The park is known for its tranquility and its very well-groomed appearance. The park has a number of facilities: tennis court, badminton court, fitness room (not during school holidays) and playground. There are no commercial facilities in the park. However, you can have a drink or eat something in the Plaza on Saturday evening (you can also pick up food).
Important to know
- Smoking is NOT allowed in the house and shed.
- The garden is located next to a pond, be careful with small children.
- The garden is closed at the front with a low fence and entrance gate.
- Minimum stay of 2 nights.
- Arrival and departure is possible on any day.
- From June to August 2024, arrival and departure is only possible on Saturdays. In September 2024, arrival and departure is possible on Friday and Monday.
- Maximum of two small or medium-sized dogs: the stay is €40 per dog.
- The beds are made for the number of guests.
- Bath towels are NOT provided.
- Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge an electric car at the house.
- Electric bicycles can be charged and stored in the shed.
- The deposit for the transmitter of the central entrance gate of the park is € 100.
- Recreational/tourist rental only.
- No parties or events.
- Tourist tax is included in the price.
- Check-in on the day of arrival between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Check-out is no later than 12 noon on the day of departure.
