The cottage
The living room is stylish and cozy! There is a sofa and two armchairs. There is a smart TV with cable connection, and of course there is wifi. From the living room you can go through the sliding doors to the terrace, where there is an awning. There are four chairs around the dining table. The kitchen has a (Nespresso) coffee maker, kettle, fridge & freezer, gas stove, combination microwave, sandwich maker and toaster. And of course there is crockery, cutlery and pans. A number of coffee cups for the first day, tea, spices, garbage bags and items for washing up are provided. However, the request to supplement this when they are (almost) gone, so that the person after you also has something.
The master bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with a nice big duvet, and wardrobes. The small bedroom has two single beds (80 x 200 cm) and a number of smaller cupboards (these hang high). For babies there is a camping cot and a high chair available (please indicate this in advance, and I will make sure it is ready). In the bathroom are the toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. I lay out two toilet rolls. Bath towels and shower gel/shampoo are NOT provided.
All windows are equipped with a mosquito net!
Outside the cottage
On the terrace there is a garden table with four chairs, and here is an awning. At the rear there are two lounge chairs where you can sit with a view of the pond.
In the lockable shed there is space to park bicycles and a socket to charge electric bicycles. Because open fires are forbidden in dry weather, I have an electric bbq in the shed, so that the bbq can always be on. The garden at the front is closed off with a fence. There is no fence on the side of the pond, so pay attention to this with small children.
There is a parking space for one car at the cottage. You will be given a transmitter to open the gate to enter the park by car. A € 100 deposit is required for the channel. Outside the park, along the side of the road, there is parking space for possibly. an extra car.
Dogs are welcome
A maximum of two small or medium-sized dogs are welcome in my cottage. The stay is € 40 per dog. Bring your own basket and food and water bowl. I don't like it when dogs are on the beds and this is also in terms of hygiene towards the other guests, so please take this into account. If your dog wants to sit on the couch, bring your own rugs for the couch where the dog can lie on. Cats are not allowed in my house.
Kerkendel Estate
My cottage is located on chalet park "Landgoed Kerkendel". The park is known for its tranquility and that it has a very well-kept appearance. The park has a number of facilities: tennis court, badminton court, fitness room and playground. There are no commercial facilities at the park. However, you can have a drink or something to eat in the Plaza on Saturday evening (takeaway food is also possible).
Important to know
- Smoking is NOT allowed in the house and in the shed.
- The garden is located on a pond, be careful with small children.
- The garden is closed at the front with a low gate and entrance gate.
- Minimum stay of 2 nights.
- Arrival and departure is possible on any day.
- In the period 24 May to 27 September 2025, arrival and departure is only possible on Saturdays.
- A maximum of two small or medium-sized dogs: the stay is € 40 per dog.
- The beds are made for the number of guests.
- Bath towels are NOT provided.
- Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge an electric car at the cottage.
- Electric bicycles can be charged and stored in the shed.
- The deposit for the transmitter of the central entrance gate of the park is € 100.
- Only recreational/tourist rentals.
- No parties or events.
- Tourist tax is included in the price.
- Check-in on the day of arrival between 15:00 and 21:00.
- Check-out is no later than 12:00 noon on the day of departure.
