The Veluwe Forest House

Welcome to the Veluwe forest house
Located on the beautiful Veluwe just a few minutes from vast forests, our accommodation offers the ideal base for a relaxing holiday where you can take endless walks. Your dog is also more than welcome. There are 2 dogs allowed in the property and they are also free of charge. In the summer season it is a wonderfully lively park and always something to do.

Out of season it is an oasis of peace and you will wake up to the chirping birds. The park and its surroundings are fireworks-free. The only thing you will hear from New Year's Eve are some carbide bangs at a great distance. Great for dogs that are afraid of fireworks. 

Our chalet at the recreation park 't Veluws Hof in Hoenderloo not only offers comfort and tranquility, but also a range of facilities for young and old. Enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool (open from mid-May to early September, weather permitting), complete with a water slide, wellness area, jet stream and a dedicated children's play pool. For the little ones there are various playgrounds and playground equipment and of course the mini golf course should not be missed.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy themselves on the two all-weather tennis courts (open from mid-March to October), the football field, the beach volleyball court or the sports court with basketball and football field.
There is also a bowling alley for a fun night out. For the inner man, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal, as well as a supermarket with fresh bread rolls and other daily necessities. If you like cycling, you can rent bikes to explore the area further.
In short, the Veluwe forest house offers a perfect mix of nature, relaxation and activities for the whole family. We hope to welcome you soon!

The chalet from 2023 is fully equipped and has 2 bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and lovely sitting area with 49" smartTV, and air conditioning.

Bedroom 1:
Is equipped with a double bed (1.60x2.00), bedside tables with night lights and plenty of closet space.

Bedroom 2:
Is equipped with two single beds (80x200), a bedside table with night light and also plenty of closet space.

Bathroom:
Luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Of course, the hair dryer should not be missing here.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen with complete crockery.
Dishwasher, oven, microwave, 4-burner gas stove, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and Dolce Gusto.

Dining area:
Dining table with seating for 4 people to enjoy breakfast, dinner or play a game.

Lounge:
Lovely sitting area with a 2-seater sofa and 2 separate comfortable chairs. For relaxation, there is a 49" smartTV with the most common channels and a free Netflix account. If you want to stream from your device yourself, you can use the Chromecast available.
In the living room there is also an air conditioning system that can cool and heat.
You will find various reading books for children and adults in the chalet. We also have various board games for all ages for you.

Garden:
The garden is fully fenced so you don't have to worry about your four-legged friend running away.
You will also find a lovely lounge set and a dining table with 4 chairs. The Weber barbecue can be used free of charge.1 high chair and 1 cot with mattress are available and do not need to be reserved. These are free to use.

The Veluwse Boshuisje has its own fast WiFi which can be used free of charge during your stay.

Of course you want to go on holiday carefree and that is why you will find wonderfully made beds and you will receive a towel package for your stay with us. The kitchen package has also been thought of.

Safety is our top priority and that is why we have equipped the chalet with 3 smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.

A safe for your valuables is also provided.
