Sijsje

Sijsje is a cozy and spacious chalet for 4 people, in the quiet and car-free IJsselheide forest park. The park is located in the nature reserve "De Vuursteenberg", next to another nature reserve "De Wezepsche Heide". This ensures the most beautiful cycling and walking experiences! You can also enjoy on and near the water, because the IJssel is nearby! Or in the water, because about 2 km away, in Wezep, is the beautiful subtropical swimming pool "De Veldkamp"!
If you like cultural and culinary challenges, the beautiful Hanseatic city of Zwolle, located on the other side of the IJssel, is highly recommended. And furthermore, the Hanseatic town of Hattem is definitely worth a visit, with its historic city center!
If you feel like chilling out, stay with Sijsje! There is a lovely green garden, enclosed all around and with lots of privacy, with a spacious terrace and a lawn with trees where you can relax in the sun or in the shade in the nice garden chairs.
Children can also have fun in the garden; They can play chalk and marbles on the large sidewalk, they can enjoy crafts at the picnic table and they can play sporting games on the grass (which are available in the garden house). There is a hammock and a picnic blanket for lazing around. There is a sandbox/pool shell for the little ones. For even more water fun, a brightly colored silicone mortar tub can be used (can also be used as a bath for the little ones)! Near Sijsje, on the playing field, there is a beautiful new wooden playground equipment where children can slide, swing and clamber.
Squirrels and many different types of birds love to visit Sijsje's garden, because there is always something tasty to be found there. Many chickadees are raised in the many nesting boxes in the garden...

There is a lockable garden house. It contains a ladies' bicycle (with basket and panniers) that you can use! If you want to bring your own bicycles, there is room for that too. 4 electric bicycles can be charged simultaneously in the garden house.

It's also delicious in Sijsje! There is a nice sofa, good chairs, a large table and comfortable beds! The kitchen is practical and well equipped.
There is a spacious TV and a good radio/CD player. There are also many games, craft supplies and books. In short: boredom is impossible in Sijsje!



Sijsje will change hands on April 13, 2024. Some things will change outwardly, but the beautiful spot will remain the same!
