House Friendship

Our cozy holiday home 'Friendship' is located in the woods and is part of the forest park IJsselheide. However, due to its location on the outer edge, you do not have to enter the park to get to the house and you can park in front of the door. We enjoy the peace in the house and garden and find the surroundings of our place here beautiful!

From the living room you can regularly see the squirrels climbing the trees in the garden or eating from the squirrel cabinet. When you step out of the door, you can walk in a few minutes to the nature reserve of the Vuursteenberg or the Wezeper Heide, where you will be face to face with a Scottish Highlander in no time. You can walk or cycle extensively here.

Cycling is an excellent option in this area anyway. Within a radius of 20 kilometers, various Hanseatic cities can be reached by bicycle and car. Hattem, Zwolle, Kampen and Elburg are easy to do. Deventer and Giethoorn are also nice accessible destinations. There is much to experience and do in the area. In neighboring Wezep you can enjoy yourself in the subtropical swimming pool, in Hattem you can play golf and Zwolle offers extensive shopping opportunities. There are also plenty of museums in the area.

The cottage is simple, but cozy and fully furnished. There is an open connection between the living room and kitchen. The dishwasher and wifi are not missing. The Wifi is sufficient for whattsapp and daily mail. Not for streaming, gaming or work. The TV works via digital. This can sometimes cause some atmospheric disturbances in bad weather conditions. There are two bedrooms. One with a double bed and a small room with two single beds. This room is slightly lowered because there is a (sleeping) attic above. An extra child can sleep here if necessary.
In the garden there is a comfortable lounge set where you can enjoy sun and shade. You can store your bicycles in the shed behind the house.
It is forbidden to barbecue or use a fire pit in this forest area.

There are duvets (1 double 240x200 and 2 single 140x200) and pillows. You must bring your own duvet covers, mattress covers (single and 160 cm wide), pillowcases, towels and tea towels. If this is difficult for you due to circumstances or if you have forgotten, please contact us and we will look for a solution. In that situation you can use existing bed linen for a fee (10.00 per person to be deducted from the deposit).
