The cozy city of Nijmegen is just around the corner to go shopping, enjoy culture in the historic center, catch a movie or relax on one of the many terraces while enjoying a snack and a drink. There are plenty of activities in the immediate vicinity. From swimming in natural lakes, water sports, tennis, golf, sailing in a hot air balloon, horseback riding, clay pigeon shooting, wine tastings to gliding. Visit the impressive Freedom Museum in Groesbeek and do the Battlefield tour in a jeep. Take a day trip across the nearby border to Germany by bicycle train. Our cottage is fully insulated and fully equipped, such as a comfortable two-seater sofa with ottoman, dining area, laptop corner and a new, fully equipped open kitchen with induction hobs, extractor hood, fridge with freezer compartment, oven combi-microwave and dishwasher.
There is wireless internet and TV can be streamed with the chromecast.
The luxurious wellness bathroom in hammam atmosphere has a whirlpool bath of 1.90 x 90 (also suitable for 2 people) to relax and is equipped with 6 hydro side jets, 4 back jets, 4 foot jets and 12 airbottom jets. A wellness package with 6 luxurious, natural bath oils can be ordered. In the luxurious steam room with massage jets, aroma and light therapy, you can get rid of all stress and enjoy a healthy and wonderful wellness experience while listening to your favorite music via the radio. Of course, you can also just shower in it, because the steam cabin is also equipped with a rain shower and a hand shower. The infrared underfloor heating in the bathroom completes the feeling of well-being. The water does not contain limescale thanks to the softening system, which you will immediately notice in your skin and hair if you have used the whirlpool pool or the shower/steam room. You will also discover how good water can taste!
In the compact bedroom there is a bed of 200 x 140 with a topper and 2 duvets for a wonderful sleeping comfort. The bed is made on arrival. Bath towels and kitchen linen are included.
In the technical room there is a washing machine, dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron.
The heating in our cottage is mainly electric.
Heating and cooling in the living room are regulated by means of an air conditioner. The bathroom and hall have infrared underfloor heating and the bedroom is heated with a central heating radiator.
The cottage is located in the middle of the forest, on a plot of 341 m2 with a private parking space and a large shed, in which bicycles can be placed. The barn has interior lighting and an outdoor lamp with a motion sensor.
The garden is surrounded by greenery, has a beautiful pond with water lilies and a nice terrace with garden furniture for 4 people, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning in the sun. On the other side of the pond there can be 2 sun loungers for extensive sunbathing during the afternoon hours.
From the cottage you walk straight into the vast forest with many hiking trails, where you have the chance to spot a deer or see squirrels climbing the trees.
The forest and the surrounding area are also known for their great mountain biking opportunities.
The possibilities for cyclists are almost endless. There is also a very wide, concrete cycle path from the park right through the forest, which takes you to the centre of Groesbeek in 12 minutes (3.9 km).
When you walk out of the park on the other side, you cross and walk straight onto the Mookerheide, again with many hiking trails, equestrian routes, etc.
There is also a cycle path here and you can be in the centre of Malden in 10 minutes or follow one of the many cycling routes through the beautiful surroundings.
A bus stops 700 m from the entrance to the park.
Malden has an extensive shopping center and in Groesbeek there is a choice of 5 supermarkets for daily shopping.
The Libelle wellness is located next to the Vlinder and is ideal to combine for family and friends (2 x 2 p.) who want to go out together in their own accommodation. See further at forest house De Vlinder.
