Bungalow

Cozy cottage on the Veluwe

The house is located in one of the quietest bungalow parks in the Veluwe, De Toverberg, a fifteen-minute bike ride from the heart of Ermelo.

The park is almost completely surrounded by forest. The houses are spaced apart so there is a lot of privacy. The park has no fence, wildlife from the area has free access to the park.

The area is ideal for walking or cycling and enjoying peace, space and the silence of nature. There is a wide range of cultural activities within cycling or driving distance. There is also a lot to do in the area for children. See below under 'tips for the tenant'.

The cottage and amenities:
  • The cottage is suitable for 3 people.
  • Well insulated, double glazing, central heating, solid foundation and all amenities.
  • It feels like a real house in the middle of the forest.
  • It is a detached house with an area of 70 m2 on a forest area of 560 m2.
  • There are two bedrooms, a sitting room and a covered veranda.
  • The kitchen is light and modern, has a refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove, kettle, combination microwave, filter coffee machine and Nespresso machine. No oven, no dishwasher.
  • The bathroom is spacious and has a luxurious shower.
  • There is cable connection, radio/CD set, TV, Netflix and WiFi.
  • There is a washing machine and a dryer in the storage room.
  • In the shed there are 1 women's, 3 men's and 1 children's bicycle with gears that you can use (the racing bike is private).
  • There are board games and books available for a rainy day.
Accessibility:
  • You can park directly at the house.
  • Local bus 501 stops at the entrance of the bungalow park and runs to/from Ermelo NS Station.
Rules and Restrictions:
  • No more than 3 people.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Please talk quietly on the veranda after 9:00 PM. This works like a sound box so that the neighbors understand every word.
  • Only small pets and after consultation.
  • Dogs are not allowed to run freely outside the bungalow park, they are required to be kept on a leash.
  • You consciously use energy.
  • No barbecue and no open fire outside.
  • Do not leave food or garbage outside (this attracts pigs).
  • The bicycles are maintained, but may have defects. Use is at your own risk.
  • The use of appliances such as washing machine and dryer is at your own risk.
  • You respect the peace and quiet on the Toverberg (no noise or light pollution).
  • You respect the park rules of the Toverberg, see toverberg.nl/algemene_voorwaarden.

We rent out the house with some of our private belongings and clothing still in it. We will of course make room for you in the wardrobes, refrigerator and the like so that you can settle in the house. If you want to rent the house for a longer period of time, we can create more space in consultation.
