The chalet is located in a quiet, small-scale private forest park in Ermelo. It is located on plot 105c and is suitable for 4 people.
It is a modern and new chalet from December 2022, made of Douglas wood and has the relaxed atmosphere and wood scent of a log cabin with veranda in the middle of the forest.
Immerse yourself in tranquility with birdsong, running squirrels and the smell of a primeval Dutch forest. Bon vivants, those seeking peace and quiet, hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and nature lovers will feel at home there. Even if you are looking for a 'writing house', you have come to the right place. You can walk from the chalet in any direction further into the forest. There are numerous walking and cycling routes within easy reach. The park is not fenced and the area is known for its abundance of wildlife: deer, boars, foxes, badgers and red deer.
The cottage and facilities:
- It is a detached house with an area of 70 m2 (of which 10 m2 is a veranda) on a spacious private forest plot of approximately 465 m2.
- It is suitable for 4 people.
- There are two bedrooms, a bright living room with open kitchen, a spacious veranda, a small part of which is covered (6x1) in a beautiful natural garden with paved paths and a bicycle shed.
- The living room is spacious and light, through the large window area you can look from the sofa at your own piece of forest.
- The seating area consists of a large lounge sofa and separate armchair
- The smart TV in the living room has YouTube, Chromecast, analogue television and countless Samsung digital channels ('golden oldies'). There are 2 Bluetooth boxes and free WiFi.
- The kitchen is modern, has a refrigerator with mini freezer, 4-burner induction hob, dishwasher, kettle, microwave oven, Nespresso machine, milk frother and blender. The kitchen is well equipped, so that you can enjoy cooking or baking yourself.
- The open kitchen has a round wooden table with 4 chairs.
- One bedroom has a double box spring (160x200 | with double duvet and fitted sheet) and the other two single beds (90x200). Pillows and a four-season duvet are provided for all beds.
- Both bedrooms have cupboard space.
- The bathroom is modern and equipped with a luxurious rain shower with extra separate spray head, sink and a design radiator for drying towels.
- The house feels comfortable, everything is well insulated with double glazing, the heating is sustainable and environmentally friendly with central heating and thermostat.
- In the shed there are our bicycles (2) and mountain bike (1) that you can use. We maintain these bicycles, but the condition is 'used', we see sharing them as a favor and is at your own risk.
- There are board games and books available for a pleasant evening and/or rainy day.
- There are also ball shooting balls, a wooden throwing game, ping-pong pools and badminton rackets.
Good to know:
- You must bring your own bed linen, kitchen linen and towels.
- You must leave the house clean. Any after-cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.
Accessibility:
- There are 2 private parking spaces directly at the house.
- Local bus 501 stops at the entrance of the bungalow park and runs to/from Ermelo NS Station.
Some facilities of the park:
- There is a modern natural playground for (small) children in the park.
- The playground also has a ping-pong table, table football game and outdoor fitness equipment.
- There is a small reading house at reception.
- You can use a launderette at the reception
Ifs and buts (we'll just say it clearly):
- Pets, smoking and vaping are NOT allowed in our chalet or on the plot
- Everyone is welcome, but due to the step to the veranda and some raised window frames, we think that the chalet is unfortunately less suitable for wheelchair users or people with a (great) dependence on a walker
- Please note: The park does not have a charging facility for electric cars. The meter cupboard and cabling are modern but not suitable for charging with a granny charger (fire risk). Charging cars is expressly not permitted for this reason and because of the additional costs. You can of course charge electric bicycles.
- Use of the house, all items and materials is at your own risk
Books?
You can directly make a booking for one or more weeks via the agenda. If you want to rent the house for a longer period of time, we can discuss this in consultation. In principle, the house can be booked for a maximum of 3 consecutive weeks. For a booking of longer than a week, we would like to contact you personally for a brief introduction.
