The chalet is located in a quiet, small-scale private forest park in Ermelo. It is located at Drieërweg 130, plot 105c, Ermelo and is suitable for 4 people.
It is a modern and new chalet from December 2022, built of Douglas fir wood and has the relaxed atmosphere and wood scent of a log cabin with veranda in the middle of the forest.
Immerse yourself in peace and quiet with chirping birds, running squirrels and the smell of a primeval Dutch forest. Epicureans, peace seekers, hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and nature lovers will feel at home. Even if you are looking for a 'writing house', you have come to the right place. You walk from the chalet in any direction further into the forest. There are walking and cycling routes within easy reach. The park is not fenced and the area is known for its wildlife.
The cottage and its amenities:
- It is a detached cottage with an area of 70 m2 (of which 10m2 is porch) on a private forest plot of approx. 465 m2.
- It can accommodate 4 people.
- There are two bedrooms, a living room with open kitchen, a spacious veranda, a small part of which is covered (6x1) in a beautiful natural garden with paved paths and a bicycle shed.
- The living room is spacious and light, through the large window surface you look from the sofa to your own piece of forest.
- The sitting area consists of a large lounge sofa and separate armchair
- The smart TV in the living room has youtube, chromecast, analog television and countless samsung digital channels ('golden oldies'). There are 2 bluetooth boxes and free Wi-Fi.
- The kitchen is modern, has a fridge with mini freezer, 4-burner induction hob, dishwasher, kettle, microwave oven, Nespresso machine, milk frother and blender. The kitchen is well equipped, so that cooking or baking yourself is possible.
- In the open kitchen there is a round wooden table with 4 chairs.
- One bedroom has a double box spring (160x200 | with double duvet and fitted sheet) and the other two single beds (90x200). Pillows and a four-season duvet are provided for all beds.
- Both bedrooms have closet space.
- The bathroom is modern and equipped with a rain shower with extra separate spray head, sink and a design radiator to dry towels.
- The cottage feels comfortable, everything is well insulated with double glazing, the heating is sustainable and environmentally friendly with central heating and thermostat.
- In the shed are our bicycles (2) and mountain bike (1) that you can use. We maintain these bikes, but the condition is 'used', sharing them we see as a favor and is at your own risk.
- There are board games and books available for a pleasant evening and/or rainy day.
- In addition, there are klootschietkloten, a wooden throwing game, ping pong pools and badminton rackets.
Good to know:
- You must bring your own bed linen, kitchen linen and towels.
- You must leave the house clean. Any post-cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.
Accessibility:
- There are 2 private parking spaces directly at the cottage.
- Local bus 501 stops at the entrance of the bungalow park and runs to/from NS Station Ermelo.
Some of the park's facilities:
- There is a modern natural playground for (small) children in the park.
- The playground has a ping pong table, table football and outdoor fitness equipment.
- There is a small reading house at the reception.
- You can use a launderette at the recpetie
Ifs and buts (we'll make it clear):
- Pets, smoking and vaping are NOT allowed in our chalet and on the plot
- Everyone is welcome, but because of the step to the veranda and some upright window frames, we think that the chalet is less suitable for wheelchair users or people with a dependency on a walker
- Please note: The park does not have a charging facility for electric cars. The meter cupboard and cabling are modern but not suitable for charging with a granny charger (fire hazard). Charging cars is therefore not allowed for this reason and because of the additional costs. You can charge electric bikes.
- Use of the cottage, all belongings and materials is at your own risk
- The park, the surroundings and the cottage do not lend themselves to receiving groups such as birthdays or festivities
Book?
Via the agenda you can directly make a booking of one or more weeks. If you want to rent the cottage for a longer period of time, we can discuss that. In principle, the house can be booked for a maximum of 3 consecutive weeks. For a booking longer than a week, we are happy to contact you personally for a short introduction.
