This robust, Scandinavian-inspired lodge in the middle of 90-year-old Douglas firs in a unique place on the Veluwe in the forest area of Emst (near Epe) exudes peace, space and natural luxury. With room for 2-5 people, this is the ideal holiday home for those who love a sturdy interior with wood accents and a warm atmosphere in a special, luxurious setting. The base for lovers of nature and the outdoors. It's more than a night away, an experience!
Inside the lodge (sustainable & ecological) it is comfortable by the heat of the fireplace. Surrounded by wood and rustic details, you imagine yourself in a unique ambience. The veranda with lounge set is the place to have a drink and enjoy the outdoors. You can warm up at the fire pit. There are also two lovely relax-lying beds. The lodge also has a luxury kitchen with sitting area and living room. The 2 bedrooms with box springs ensure a good night's sleep & the bathroom offers a nice rain shower. (sofa 5th sleeping place)
Drive onto a forest path and you will arrive at a wonderful place in nature with rustling trees, greenery and silence. Surrounded by nature on a large plot of almost 1000m2 you breathe fresh air here, mixed with the scent of pine trees.
When the first rays of sunshine show themselves in the morning, you wake up rested by chirping birds or a few cheeky squirrels.
During the day, it is endless walking or cycling in the immediate vicinity through the vast forests and heaths of the Veluwe.
During a walk at sunset, there is a good chance that you will spot game such as a badger, fox, deer or wild boar. At night it is very quiet and really dark and in clear weather you can admire the countless stars over the treetops. Hear the call of the tawny owl or the ticking of the woodpecker. It makes you realize that you are really in nature.
