Wildlodge

Drive up a forest path and you will arrive at a wonderful place in nature with rustling trees, lots of greenery and silence. Our special holiday lodge is located in a small-scale authentic park on a spacious plot of 750m2 in Emst on the Veluwe, in the middle of the forests of the Kroondomein. The lodge has been renovated and furnished with great attention. A lot of wood/natural tones have been used, which gives a warm, sturdy atmosphere. It is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle and experience pleasant moments together.

You can enjoy an extensive luxury kitchen with bar equipped with all amenities. There is a spacious living room with sitting and dining area with cozy gas fireplace. There are two bedrooms with 2x double box springs (+ on request a cot up to 2 years and high chair) and a comfortable bathroom with rain shower, entirely on the ground floor. French doors lead you to the attractive veranda: the place to relax & enjoy the outdoors. You can warm up in the fire pit during chilly evenings.

When the first rays of sunshine appear here in the morning, you wake up refreshed by rustling leaves, chattering birds or cheeky squirrels (these show up a lot). The badger, marten and fox are also regularly spotted near our veranda! When dusk falls, there is a good chance that you will spot a group of deer or wild boars in the Crown Estates (you can walk straight into the forest from the lodge)

At night it is quiet and still really dark, and you can admire countless stars over the treetops in clear weather. Hear the call of an owl or the tapping of the woodpecker. It makes you realize that you are in nature..

On the other hand, there is a lot to see and experience in the area. It is an excellent base for walking and cycling tours and various excursions. Next to 't Hertenkamp is *****camping "De Wildhoeve", equipped with a swimming pool, outdoor water playground, brasserie/snack bar and entertainment/disco.
