Our cottage "Slow Down" in the forest is located in a unique place on the Veluwe in the Natura 2000 area in Emst (municipality of Epe). The holiday home was built in 2003 and it has a warm atmospheric atmosphere. It is a beautiful place for recreation and to relax.

Surroundings

When you arrive you will immediately experience the silence, the greenery and the trees. At dusk you will see bats, you can hear the owl and you may just spot a wild boar or deer.

There is much to see, experience and discover in the area. For example, there are Het Loo Palace, Apenheul, Cannenburgh Castle, sauna de Veluwse Bron (3.5 km). Recreational lakes, Het Kievitsveld and Heerderstrand are also close by. Information leaflets about the area are available in the cottage!

A little further away are the towns of Vierhouten, Zwolle, Apeldoorn, Deventer and Elburg.

Welcome to our holiday home Slow Down! We, Horst and Eleonora, have been enjoying this house since 2016.
This cottage is located in a wooded area, in the middle of the Natura 2000 area in Emst (gem. Epe) on the North Veluwe. It is a beautiful area, extremely quiet and ideal to use as a base to explore the Veluwe, surrounding villages and towns. We like to let others enjoy themselves too and hope to welcome you!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The booking is accepted after a deposit of 50% of the total amount.

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always inform the renter by e-mail. Even if this has already been done by telephone.

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant.

less than 15 days before the start of the rental period 25% of the rental price with the exception of the deposit.
Cancellation on the start date or during the rental period, no refund with the exception of the deposit (minus costs incurred).

Deviating requests can be made in consultation.

Dog allowed in consultation.

Energy consumption: Exclusive, based on meter readings, will be deducted from deposit.

The wood-burning fireplace can only be used in the period from November to April!

Only use the fire bowl outdoors when no wildfire risk alert has been issued. Code red.
