Holiday home de Blokhut, relax in a beautiful place in the Achterhoek and cool off in the beautiful private lake during the hot summers!
Our beautiful log cabin is located at holiday park de Fontein in Eibergen. The park is small-scale, quietly located and offers the perfect base for walking and cycling tours through the Gelderland bocage landscape. A stone's throw from our cottage is a beautiful lake with a sandy beach, canoes and pedal boats, where you can relax on nice days. The beach and lake are only accessible to park guests and therefore always wonderfully quiet.
The log cabin is tastefully decorated and can accommodate 4 to 5 guests. If you want to come with 5 people, this must be discussed in advance. The spacious living room with large kitchen is equipped with all conveniences such as dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi, and so on. Due to the high ceiling and the many woods, the whole exudes a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The 4 patio doors to the large decking terrace with lots of privacy ensure that on nice days inside and outside are wonderfully connected.
Both bedrooms are light and freshly furnished, with high ceilings here as well. Of course equipped with comfortable double beds with pillows and single duvets. Furthermore, the cottage has a separate toilet and a luxurious bathroom with rain shower. Please note, the infrared sauna is out of order.
There is a private parking space in front of the cottage and your bicycles can be parked next to the front door. The log cabin is smoke and pet free.
In the immediate vicinity you will find the following facilities;
- Center of Eibergen at approx. 2.5 km
- Outdoor swimming pool / adventure park / zoo approx. 1.5 km away
- Public transport at approx. 1.5 km
- Germany at approx. 6 km
- Shopping in the nice center of Enschede / Winterswijk at about 20 minutes by car
The park is currently being worked on! The front part will slowly and step by step be overhauled and completely renewed. Preparatory work for this has now started. For your stay in the log cabin this may mean that you have to enter the park via a different route, the park part where the log cabin is located will not be addressed. Together with the manager of the park, we are doing everything we can to keep the inconvenience to a minimum and are very much looking forward to the result.
