TIME-OUT ("a break")

Summer, autumn, winter, spring. Whatever the season, the Veluwe is fantastically beautiful all year round. It is not for nothing that thousands of people flock to Gelderland every year to enjoy the forests, sand drifts, heathland, cycling and walking routes. But... Especially  for the peace and quiet that generally still prevails. In short, you don't have to travel far to enjoy, relax and tell experiences when you return home.

Our spacious chalet is located in the beautiful Veluwe on the beautiful Dennenrhode forest park in Doornspijk (municipality of Elburg). The forest park is characterized by peace, nature, small scale and bird sounds. The park has a small playground and an outdoor swimming pool (free access in the summer season). Dennenrhode is ideal for relaxation and as a base for beautiful walks, bike rides, sightseeing and holidays.
   
The chalet is spacious and light. It has one bedroom with a double bed. In the living room there is a sofa bed that can accommodate a third person. You don't have to suffer from the cold at all. Next to the central heating there is a wood stove. It also has an air conditioner that provides cooling in the summer but can also serve as extra heating in the winter. There is private Wifi and the TV is equipped with a Chromecast so that you can stream your Netflix movies if necessary. In the spacious bathroom you have the convenience of a vanity unit and the walk-in shower. Here are also the washing machine and dryer. The open kitchen is equipped with many conveniences such as a small oven/microwave, four-burner gas hob, extractor hood, kettle and a DeLonghi coffee bean machine.
When the weather is nice, you can take a seat outside on the terrace in comfortable garden chairs and maybe you feel like preparing something on the gas barbecue. You can park your car in the private parking lot at the chalet.
