The Veluwe Pond House - LAST MINUTE

LAST MINUTE: Midweek 31/03 - 04/04: €395!!   WEEKEND OF 2 NIGHTS IS POSSIBLE outside the holidays, with stays on Sundays until 20:00. Come and relax in our luxurious 8-person family and friends villa, idyllically situated in a prime location on a beautiful pond in a park in Beekbergen, in the middle of the Veluwe forests. Because of the terraces around the house, you can always enjoy the sun or the shade in any season. 2 high chairs and 2 cots, playpen (for indoor and outdoor), children's bathroom step and toilet reducer are available free of charge. There is a stair gate on the landing, so that they can stay safely upstairs. 

The living room has a magnificent view of the pond and is attractively furnished and equipped with a fireplace. You can buy wood for this at the lobby. There is a small barbecue available. Due to the high vegetation around the plot, you have plenty of privacy. Peace and quiet is also guaranteed, because there is no through traffic at the house!

The spacious open kitchen also overlooks the pond and, compared to other houses in the park, is equipped with a large number of extras, such as a Senseo and coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, an egg cooker, a mixer, a separate oven and a microwave, a juicer and of course also the standard fridge + freezer and dishwasher. 

There are also 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and bench, and a separate toilet . On the upper floor there are 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A mini first aid kit is a handy present extra!

You can walk or cycle straight into the forest from the villa and at +-300 meters are the Loenense waterfalls, the largest in the Netherlands. An old railway line passes 300m from the park, along which you regularly hear and see a tourist steam train passing by! In the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings you can also enjoy cycling and walking between all the beauty that the Veluwe has to offer: forests, heaths, sandy plains, picturesque villages and so much more! (see 'Tips from the landlord' below)

The well-kept park includes a free indoor swimming pool with paddling pool, a restaurant, a café, a park shop, a separate wellness area (sauna, solarium, massage, fitness), laundry, playgrounds, a bouncy castle, a jeu de boules and tennis court, table tennis, bicycle rental (always book the day before!), go-kart rental, sports fields and organizes activities for the children during the holidays. There is also a charging station for electric cars at the park.

At 3 km cycling through forest and fields in Loenen is the outdoor swimming pool Molenallee, which has a deep pool with springboard, running mat, a shallow and toddler pool, a large slide, 5000 m2 sunbathing area, play equipment such as a bouncy castle, table tennis, basketball, beach football and volleyball, a sandbox and picnic tables.
At 2 km distance is the 'Golf and Business Club De Scherpenbergh' where there is a restaurant/tea-room with a magnificent view of a pond from a large terrace!
Restaurant Het Ei van Columbus in Beekbergen, between the woods and with a beautiful terrace, is a must!

On the day of arrival you can enter the house from 16:00 and on the day of departure you must leave the house at 10:00.
Upon arrival you will receive a practical starter pack with dishcloth, washing-up brush, mini bottle of washing-up liquid, 2 dishwasher tablets, pedal bin bag, garbage bag and 1 toilet roll in both toilets.
If you wish, you can find with us the comfort of made beds, as well as bath and kitchen towels. That's nice and luxurious!

FOR A 2-NIGHT BOOKING, THE CHECK-OUT WILL BE DELAYED FROM 10:00 AM TO MAX. 20:00, via an extra charge of 60 euros. THIS IS ALSO APPLIED ON EASTER MONDAY AND PENTECOST MONDAY. DON'T FORGET TO BOOK THIS via the additional cost "Short stay surcharge". 
HOWEVER, ARRIVAL ON SUNDAY IS NOT POSSIBLE!!

The arrival and departure days are indicated in bold and underlined on the calendar for each period. For any deviations from this, please contact us.
On the upper floor, 2 more mattresses can easily be added.
