The Saxon Farm Witzand, built in 1883, is located in the middle of the meadows in the village of Barchem, in the 'Geldersch Landscape'. The farm is located just outside the village of Barchem, in the middle of the meadows and between the hills of the Lochemse mountain. The Saxon holiday home has 3 bedrooms and offers accommodation for 6 people. The Saxon holiday home is equipped with all modern conveniences and can be rented for a long weekend, midweek, week or for a longer period.

Privacy
You enjoy complete privacy; the only people present besides you are the cows that roam freely in the meadows. The farm is also not visible from the road.

The view you have is of the Lochemse mountain. The original meaning of Barchem is 'Village towards the Mountain'. As the people from the region say: “The most beautiful spot in Lochem.”

Christiane and Gerard met in Amsterdam. Christiane comes from the south of Germany and thus feels completely in the hilly landscape around Boerderij Witzand. Gerard grew up in the Achterhoek and was already in love with this environment from childhood.

Finnish Sauna or Turkish Bath (35 euros / 2 hours)

Cancellation Policy:

• If cancelled within 24 hours of booking, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.

• In case of cancellation up to the 42nd day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 30% of the booking amount.

• In case of cancellation from the 42nd to the 28th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 60% of the booking amount.

• In case of cancellation from the 28th day to the first day of stay, the cancellation fee is 90% of the booking amount.

• In case of cancellation on the first day of stay or later, the cancellation fee is 100% of the booking amount.

This comfortable Saxon farm consists of a former Saxon barn that has been converted into a residential area. The total area of ??the yard is 5000m2. Floor area of ??the farm is 160m2.

Saxon barn can accommodate 6 people. There are three bedrooms, one with a 2-bed and one with twin beds and a side room with bunk beds.
