Enjoy reading in the afternoon sun, spring 2021
Early in the morning you step outside through the French doors to enjoy the sun on our terrace.
And then shot from the living room an hour later: having coffee together and enjoying silence.

It is wonderful to walk on the large quiet heath. This is at Gortel. You can walk there in ten minutes from our house!

Fancy a game of jeu de boules? Plenty of space! And you will find the boules in our bicycle shed.
In early spring we go by car or bicycle to the sheepfold at Heerde. Huge heather and the sheep come to the cage in the afternoon with their lambs. Beautiful face!
On one of our walks from the cottage you walk a lot along this beautiful stream.
They do not like it, but we look in the nest young thrushes in the birdhouse to the oak 5 meters from our house. (See the picture with the squirrel)

A ten minute walk along the forest and you are on this heath at Gortel. It is October, the sheep have been stamped by the ram. So this spring again lots of lambs!
We just saw this rare hawfinch near our house. He enjoyed the rowan berries!

At the rear of the bungalow you have a sliding door with a screen door, so you are not bothered by flies or mosquitoes. The windows of the bedrooms are also equipped with mosquito nets.

The shopping center in Putten has just been renovated with new paving, cozy terraces and benches where you can sit for a while.

Putten has a nice shopping center with many different shops. It is always pleasant to shop and you can park for free with the parking disc.

There are several clog paths near the park. If you walk the Klompenpad you will come to very beautiful places in the outskirts of Putten towards Nijkerk.
Enjoy walking along the farms, on sandy paths and through the meadows.

It is nice cycling towards Staverden.
During a bike ride to Staverden we came across a beautiful herd of sheep, an unexpected moment of happiness.
